Xbox Live Game Pass has often been compared to subscription-based services such as Netflix as it provides subscription holders with access to a large game library for a small fee. However, as with other similar services, third-party content may only be available for a limited time before disappearing.

A total of 21 games will be removed from the Xbox Live Game Pass catalog at the end of May; 19 of which are popular Xbox 360 titles. The following is the full list of games set to be removed after May 31st:

  • Blood Bowl 2

Xbox 360

  • Age of Booty

Although it is currently unclear as to why the games included in the above list will be removed from the service, players can expect the service’s game library to constantly fluctuate. Players who are interested in playing some of these titles but do not believe they will have the time to do so in the next two weeks should look into purchasing them. All titles in the Game Pass catalog are available at a discounted price to subscription holders.

It is also worth noting that Microsoft has yet to announce the titles expected to be added to the service’s catalog in June. Previous months have included games such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Cities: Skylines, and Resident Evil 2: Revelations, among many others.

Despite some of the above games being removed from the service being rather notable titles, Xbox Live Game Pass is still a service worth investing in for players who enjoy a variety of gaming experiences. For only $9.99 per month, subscription holders get access to a game library consisting of over 100 titles to be downloaded and played at any time. New Xbox exclusive titles are also added to the Game Pass library upon release, which makes the service a great option for any player interested in purchasing upcoming titles. With all these benefits, there isn’t really much reason not to subscribe to the service.
