The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase has come and gone, revealing 15 minutes of Starfield footage, confirming the last class for Diablo 4, revealing Overwatch 2’s early access date, showing off Redfall, and tons of more reveals. Perhaps two of the biggest, even, were Hideo Kojima’s new Xbox Cloud game and the confirmation that Hollow Knight: Silksong would release on Xbox Game Pass…whenever it releases.

Microsoft promised a ton of Xbox Game Pass reveals at the Showcase, and it delivered in spades. A ton of new Game Pass titles were shown off, and shortly after the show’s end, Xbox's official Twitter account shared a new image online. This image shows 50 already-announced or newly-revealed games coming to Xbox and PC platforms over the next 12 months, with 40 of those being Xbox Game Pass titles.

Xbox Game Pass is often described as the best deal in gaming, and this really proves it. A year’s worth of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate comes in around $180, and these 40 games would be double that if they were all priced at $10. Obviously, with titles like Starfield, Dead Space, the Persona games, Pentiment, Scorn, and A Plague Tale: Requiem included on this list of 40 games (as seen below), that value skyrockets. Simply put, there’s no beating Game Pass when it comes to value.

Some of these games have release dates or windows, while others do not, but knowing that they will come over the next 12 months is a powerful promise from Microsoft. If any were still upset about the Starfield delay, they really shouldn’t be. Microsoft not only proved the value of Xbox Game Pass again today, but it showed off the strengths of its Xbox Game Studios, of its Bethesda acquisition, and even gave a little look into the Xbox/Activision-Blizzard future.

Of course, it should be noted that anything can be delayed, and this image clarifies that these 50 games are targeting a release within the next 12 months. Something on the above image may slip, but even if half of them were to fall behind on development, it would still be a big win for Xbox Game Pass.

As for the here and now, Xbox Game Pass has a few more games confirmed for June so far: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge on June 16, Shadowrun Trilogy on June 21, Naraka: Bladepoint on June 23, and Escape Academy on June 28. It would stand to reason that more will be revealed this coming week, so it’s clear the immediate and long-term view is incredibly bright for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
