While there are always plenty of new games added to Xbox Game Pass on a regular basis, games are removed from the service as well, with 15 total being removed in November 2022. Microsoft recently pulled the curtain back on the new Xbox Game Pass games coming in the second half of November 2022, but that announcement also included the games leaving in the second half of the month.

This announcement means Xbox Game Pass subscribers now have a full view of all the games that departed from the service in November 2022. The games leaving Xbox Game Pass in November 2022 include a wide variety of titles, including some fairly notable releases that subscribers may want to try before they're gone.

Two games were removed from Xbox Game Pass on November 8 in the form of Football Manager 2022 and Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition. While some soccer fans may have been sad to see those games go, the good news is that they were immediately replaced by this year's entries in the Football Manager simulation franchise.

In the meantime, five games are scheduled to be removed from Xbox Game Pass after November 15, with Art of Rally, Fae Tactics, Next Space Rebels, One Step from Eden, and Supraland all getting the boot. All five of these games were fairly well-received when they first released, and so Game Pass subscribers should try to check them out while they still can. All five are being removed after November 15, though, so Game Pass subscribers only have one more day to play them at the time of this writing.

The next batch of departing Game Pass games will be removed at the end of the month, on November 30, with eight games leaving on that day. November 30 will be the last day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to play Archvale, Deeeer Simulator, Final Fantasy 13-2, Mind Scanners, Mortal Shell, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, Undungeon, and Warhammer 40,000 Battlesector. Anyone interested in keeping these games should note that Game Pass titles are available at a 20% discount while they're on the service.

Final Fantasy 13-2 Lackluster Japan Sales

Out of all the Xbox Game Pass games leaving on November 30, the two most notable titles are arguably Final Fantasy 13-2 and Mortal Shell. Final Fantasy 13-2 is one of the last Final Fantasy games to leave the Xbox Game Pass lineup. At one point, many main series Final Fantasy games were readily available to play through Game Pass, but they have since all jumped ship and migrated to Sony's PS Plus Extra and Premium subscription services instead. Considering the deals that are in place, it's unlikely that main series Final Fantasy games will be coming back to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service at any point in the near future, unfortunately.

Mortal Shell, meanwhile, may be of interest to fans of FromSoftware's Dark Souls series. Mortal Shell is a Soulslike from Cold Symmetry and Playstack that earned mostly positive reviews when it first launched in 2020. It is generally referred to as an easier take on Dark Souls, so those who struggle with FromSoftware's games may especially want to give it a look. It takes an average of 10 to 15 hours to beat Mortal Shell, so interested Game Pass subscribers have plenty of time between now and the end of the month to get through the game if they so desire.

In the meantime, some Xbox Game Pass subscribers may be relieved to see that survival game Subnautica is not on the updated list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in November 2022. Subnautica popped up in the Leaving Soon section of the Xbox Game Pass app, despite there being no mention of the game in the official announcements. It looks like Subnautica fans can rest easy that they will still have access to the game through the month of November, but it's possible that it will still be removed at some point in the near future, like next month or the month after. Microsoft will reveal its Game Pass plans for December 2022 when the month rolls around, so fans will have to stay tuned for more information on that front.
