Microsoft adds new games to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service regularly, and there are already numerous titles confirmed for November 2021. The new Xbox Game Pass games for November 2021 include highly-anticipated titles like Forza Horizon 5 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition, but while big games are on their way to Game Pass, some titles are on their way out as well.

Microsoft has confirmed six games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass in November 2021. All six of the games will be getting the boot on Monday, November 15, so Game Pass subscribers still have a couple of weeks to play through the ones they're interested in. And as usual, if any Xbox Game Pass subscribers want to add these games to their collection so they can still play them when they're gone, they can get a 20% discount.

Arguably the most significant game leaving Xbox Game Pass on November 15 is Final Fantasy 8 HD. The remaster of the classic PS1-era JRPG, Final Fantasy 8 HD has a number of quality of life improvements to help modernize the experience for today's audience. Final Fantasy 8 HD has jumped ship to PlayStation Now, and since Final Fantasy 9 was similarly removed from Game Pass recently, it doesn't come as a huge shock to see FF8 depart as well.

Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving November 2021

Final Fantasy 8 Xbox Game Pass
  • Final Fantasy 8 HD (Console and PC) - November 15
  • Planet Coaster (Cloud and Console) - November 15
  • Star Renegades (Cloud/Console/PC) - November 15
  • Streets of Rogue (Cloud/Console/PC) - November 15
  • The Gardens Between (Cloud/Console/PC) - November 15
  • River City Girls (Cloud/Console/PC) - November 15

November 15 will also see Planet Coaster removed from Xbox Game Pass. A theme park management sim in the vein of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, Planet Coaster earned strong reviews at the time of its original release in 2016. Anyone interested in the theme park management or construction genre should definitely consider giving it a shot while it's still available to play through Xbox Game Pass.

The other games being removed from Xbox Game Pass on November 15 consist of indie titles in the form of Star Renegades, Streets of Rogue, The Gardens Between, and River City Girls. All the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in November 2021 (that have been confirmed so far, anyway) have earned positive reviews, so fans of their respective genres may want to check them out.

In the meantime, there are a bunch of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2021 as well, including the likes of Forza Horizon 5 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition, so subscribers are getting more games than they're losing.
