Microsoft is constantly adding new games to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service so subscribers always have something new to play. But like similar subscription service, content is removed from Xbox Game Pass on a regular basis as well. Typically, Microsoft removes games from Xbox Game Pass in two batches. One batch leaves in the middle of the month, generally the 15th, and the second batch leaves on the last day of the month.

This holds true for the Xbox Game Pass games leaving the service this week. Tuesday, November 30 will be the last day that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play some of the currently-available games for free. Of course, it's always possible that games will return to Xbox Game Pass later on, but those who have started any of the games leaving the service and want to keep them for their collection can buy them at a 20% discount while they're still on Game Pass.

Here are the eight games being removed from Xbox Game Pass on November 30, 2021. Most of the games are readily available to play across cloud, console, and PC, so anyone interested in playing them before they're gone has multiple ways to do so.

Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving November 2021

  • FIFA 19
  • Football Manager 2021
  • Football Manager 2021: Xbox Edition
  • Haven
  • Hello Neighbor
  • Morkredd
  • Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action

The eight games leaving Xbox Game Pass on November 30 are Call of the Sea, FIFA 19, Football Manager 2021, Football Manager 2021: Xbox Edition (which is considered a completely separate game from the PC release for some reason), Haven, Hello Neighbor, Morkredd, and Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action. While there's nothing hugely groundbreaking but any of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass on November 30, there are definitely some good games leaving the service.

For those curious about the games leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of November, Call of the Sea is a Lovecraftian mystery game where players explore a mysterious island, solving puzzles and finding clues. Call of the Sea has a native Xbox Series X release and was in fact one of the first Xbox Series X games to hit Xbox Game Pass when it launched as a day one release last year, so some fans may be sad to see it go.

FIFA 19, meanwhile, was playable through Xbox Game Pass thanks to EA Play. For the uninitiated, EA Play is one of the perks of being an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, so those who pay for the slightly higher-priced subscription tier get access to a lot more games. The removal of FIFA 19 shouldn't sting too bad. Some that haven't finished its story mode may be disappointed, but otherwise there are more recently-released FIFA games that will still be readily available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to check out.

The Football Manager games are in a similar situation. While some may be sad to see them go, they have already been released by the freshly-released Football Manager 2022 games, which launched as day one Xbox Game Pass titles. Since more-recent versions are available, it shouldn't be all that big of a blow for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to see the Football Manager 2021 games get the boot.

However, co-op gamers may be sad about the games leaving Xbox Game Pass for November 2021. Both Haven and Morkredd offer local co-op gameplay, and both of them are getting removed come November 30. Any co-op-minded gamers should try to check them out while they still can, just in case they want to take advantage of the Xbox Game Pass discount and permanently add them to their digital collection.

And finally, Hello Neighbor is a bizarre game where the goal is for players to break into their neighbor's house and figure out the mysteries behind what he's doing. The game is known for its intense stealth gameplay, and has amassed a large-enough following to create its own media franchise with merch, spin-offs, and more readily available. Hello Neighbor is not for everyone, but anyone curious about the game still has a little time to test it out before it's removed from Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving December 2021

  • Destiny 2 (December 8)

Microsoft likely won't reveal the full list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in December 2021 until the aforementioned titles are removed, but it has confirmed at least one game that's leaving the service. Come December 8, Destiny 2 and its expansions are leaving Xbox Game Pass. This means Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be locked out of a significant swath of Destiny 2 content if they don't fork over the cash to purchase the game properly.

This news is no doubt disappointing to Destiny 2 enthusiasts who have been playing the game through Xbox Game Pass, but the writing was on the wall. It was confirmed some time ago that the Witch Queen expansion would be skipping Xbox Game Pass as well, and so many rightly assumed that Destiny 2's days on the service were numbered.

New Xbox Game Pass Games for December 2021

  • Lawn Mowing Simulator (December 2)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector (December 2)
  • Halo Infinite (December 8)
  • Among Us (December 14)
  • The Gunk (December 16)

Xbox Game Pass may be losing a lot of games this week, but it's also gaining some. November 30 alone will see the release of multiple Xbox Game Pass games, including day one titles like Evil Genius 2 and Mind Scanners. Then a couple of days later, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to even more games to bolster the popular subscription service this week.

On December 2, Lawn Mowing Simulator is coming to Xbox Game Pass, and it's joined by Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. These games should be fairly significant as Lawn Mowing Simulator has developed a sort of cult following, while Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a day one Xbox Game Pass release. However, the truly heavy hitters are coming a little bit later in the month of December.

December 8 will see the long-awaited debut of Halo Infinite as arguably the biggest day one Xbox Game Pass release of the entire year. The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is available now, but the full game release is coming on December 8 with a brand new story campaign for players to check out. Then not long after that, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to the Xbox debut of social deduction game Among Us, which remains one of the most popular video games in the world.

And finally, The Gunk will join Xbox Game Pass on December 16 as yet another day one Xbox Game Pass game. And it's worth pointing out that this isn't even the full lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in December. Just as Microsoft hasn't revealed all of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in December, it hasn't revealed all the games it's adding either, so Game Pass subscribers definitely have an exciting month ahead of them.

While Xbox Game Pass subscribers wait for more news on the new games coming in December 2021, they still have some time to play the games leaving Xbox Game Pass later this week.
