Likely due to the holiday weekend, the July 2022 Xbox Game Pass post has yet to be published, and at this point, it likely won't come until Tuesday, July 5. But while Microsoft hasn't posted anything about the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in July 2022 just yet, the Game Pass app has let fans know what's getting the boot ahead of time.
More details on Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass plans for July 2022 should come to light after the 4th of July holiday, but in the meantime, the Game Pass app has let fans know of five games that are being removed on July 15. As confirmed by Xbox Game Pass itself, Atomicrops, Carrion, Children of Morta, Cris Tales, and Lethal League Blaze will be all be removed from the service on July 15, so anyone interested should be sure to check them out while they still can.
The games leaving Xbox Game Pass in July 2022 are mostly indie games as opposed to big budget releases, but there are still some rather notable titles that are being removed. For example, Carrion is a reverse-horror game where players take on the role of a monster. Their goal is to navigate a Metroidvania-style game world, all the while killing any unlucky humans that happen to get in their way. Carrion earned mostly positive reviews at the time of its release, with a lot of praise for its unique concept.

Another notable game leaving Xbox Game Pass on July 15 is Children of Morta. Children of Morta is a dungeon-crawling roguelike with a narrative-focus unlike many other games in the genre. Children of Morta offers a solid co-op experience and was updated numerous times after its original release to add even more content to the experience.
Cris Tales is another game that will leave a big void when it's removed from Xbox Game Pass. Cris Tales reviews weren't quite as high as Carrion or Children of Morta, but it's still a notable Game Pass title because it was a day one Xbox Game Pass game when it was first added to the service.
It's possible that even more games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in July, so fans should keep that in mind. Meanwhile, there will be plenty of new games added to Xbox Game Pass in July 2022 as well, so while it's sad to see these games go, at least more are on the way in the near future.
