Microsoft has once again updated the selection of games available through its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, giving subscribers the chance to try out one of the more popular games from earlier this year as well as a brand-new, day one release. Xbox Game Pass subscribers should have plenty to look forward to this month, as Microsoft is gearing up to add multiple day one games to the service.

Perhaps the most notable new game coming to Xbox Game Pass this month is High on Life, which is coming to the service on December 13. High on Life is a first-person shooter game with Metroidvania elements from Justin Roiland and Squanch Games. It has a distinct sense of humor that should certainly appeal to fans of Roiland's Rick and Morty show. But while High on Life is joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup next week, there are some new additions for fans to check out in the meantime.

Two more games are available through Xbox Game Pass starting today. From here on, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga with their subscription. Released earlier this year to mostly positive reviews and strong sales, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga lets players relive the entire Star Wars movie timeline in LEGO form. It will be joined by Hello Neighbor 2, which is debuting on Xbox Game Pass as a day one release.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealth horror game where the goal is to explore a suspicious neighbor's house and avoid being caught. The original Hello Neighbor became a horror game sensation with kids, not unlike Five Nights at Freddy's, and it will be interesting to see if Hello Neighbor 2 is able to generate similar buzz. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the game for themselves and find out without needing to pay full price.

Looking ahead, there's even more for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to look forward to in December. Besides the aforementioned High on Life, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also look forward to Chained Echoes, Potion Craft, and Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan. There should be even more new Xbox Game Pass games added to the service in the second half of December as well, but they have yet to be revealed to the public.

There are plenty of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, but there are also titles that are leaving the service soon as well. In fact, there are 11 games leaving Xbox Game Pass on December 15, so subscribers will want to prioritize what they play accordingly.
