Xbox Game Pass members should expect something big coming to the service this week. There are plans to add a popular title, but what that title could be has intentionally been left a mystery. This had led to a lot of speculation, but few leads. If the anticipation is just too much to handle, then rest assured the wait is nearly over.

The Xbox Game Pass official Twitter account began to tease users with a surprise title back in late January with a snapshot of an "official" email thread. In one of the messages, a section of text is blurred out; apparently meant to conceal all the juicy details.

While the post did little else than confirm the game would be part of the February line-up, the account's profile information has since been updated with more details. It states that a game a lot of people have been asking for will be know to all on February 5. Xbox players who subscribe to the service now have something to look forward to this week. Let's hope it's worth the buildup.

Xbox Game Pass isn't the only subscription service updating its lineup for the new month. Xbox Live Gold recently announced its Games with Gold for February. These games will be free for subscribers, and include the Castlevania-inspired retro title Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and Super Bomberman R for Xbox One players. As always, there will be games made available to Xbox 360 users as well.

That's not it for Xbox, however, as one more bit of information should get users excited. Sony recently confirmed it will not be making an appearance at E3 2019 this year, which has prompted Microsoft to try and fill the void. The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, recently commented on the rival company's plans to be absent, saying Xbox discussed internally what its response should be, and whether it too should cut back for the show this year. Instead, it was decided that Xbox will go big at E3 2019, taking full advantage of the opportunity to steal the show.
