Every month brings with it new games to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service, and February 2022 is no exception. Microsoft has already added three games to Xbox Game Pass in February, with subscribers able to check out titles like Contrast, Dreamscaper, and Telling Lies. All three of those games were added on February 3, but there's a different day in February that's set to be much bigger for the service.

Based on what's been announced so far, it's looking like Thursday, February 10 could very well be the biggest day for Xbox Game Pass in February 2022. At the time of this writing, there are five games currently scheduled to release for Xbox Game Pass on February 10, including a few day one Xbox Game Pass games and a title that's one of the rare pure Xbox exclusives, meaning there won't even be a PC version available.

On February 10, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to check out Besiege, the console version of a previously-released PC game that lets players build siege weapons to take out enemies and solve physics-based puzzles. While Besiege has previously been available for PC, it's just now making its Xbox debut, and so it can still be qualified as a day one game. It will be joined by Edge of Eternity, which finds itself in a similar situation.

Edge of Eternity is a game built in the style of a JRPG, though it was developed in France and not Japan. Edge of Eternity is a day one Xbox Game Pass game because, like Besiege, it's just now making its Xbox console debut, even though it was previously available on other platforms. Edge of Eternity earned somewhat mixed reviews at the time of its original PC release, so it will definitely be interesting to see how console gamers react to it come February 10.

A couple of the other games coming to Xbox Game Pass on February 10 aren't day one Xbox Game Pass games, but should still be of interest. Skul: The Hero Slayer earned positive reviews when it first launched, and should greatly appeal to fans of side-scrolling action-platformer games. The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, meanwhile, is a co-op action game based on the children's novels of the same name. While it may have somewhat more limited appeal than some of the other games coming to Xbox Game Pass on February 10, those looking for a new co-op game to play should definitely check it out.

And finally, perhaps the most interesting new game coming to Xbox Game Pass on February 10 is CrossfireX. CrossfireX is a pure Xbox exclusive, with no PC version available. CrossfireX will have a free-to-play multiplayer experience developed by Smilegate Entertainment, but the real draw is the campaign developed by none other than Remedy Entertainment. The CrossfireX campaign will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox One and Xbox Series X come February 10, and considering Remedy's track record, it's something that fans should be excited about.

February 10 is going to be a huge day for Xbox Game Pass, but there's even more to look forward to later in the month. February 14 will be the day that Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition comes to Xbox Game Pass, giving subscribers easy access to the popular multiplayer survival game. It will be joined by day one Xbox Game Pass game Infernax, which is a retro throwback game designed as an homage of sorts to classic Castlevania titles.

Then on February 17, those who are subscribed to PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be able to play Total War: Warhammer 3 on Game Pass day one. Total War: Warhammer 3 is the latest installment in the critically-acclaimed strategy game franchise, and the new entry is looking great so far. It remains to be seen if it can live up to the high bar set by its predecessors, but Game Pass subscribers will find out later this month.

And finally, snowboarding game Shredders is also expected to release for Xbox Game Pass at some point in February, though a specific release date has yet to be announced. Rumors indicate that Shredders may get pushed back to March, but that has not been confirmed at the time of this writing. Regardless, Xbox Game Pass subscribers should still have plenty to play.
