It would appear that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate may already be teasing its next perk. Due to a specifically worded tweet, fans and subscribers everywhere are thinking that the gaming service could be gearing up once again to offer customers free access to Disney Plus.

Microsoft has been regularly bolstering its paid gaming subscription service with additional perks. May's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks included a NBA 2K21 MyTEAM bundle, four months of Spotify Premium, and a couple of Apex Legends Star Wars Weapon Charms. While a bit of an eclectic mix, it seems that Game Pass Ultimate perks for June may look a bit different.

As previously mentioned, Xbox fans believe Disney Plus is headed to Game Pass Ultimate as a perk for the month of June due to a tweet from the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter handle. The tweet mentions that a flashy video was in the works to tease the next Ultimate perk, but ended up deciding to "go with something a little more...Lowkey."

While a casual Twitter user may write the plain-text tweet off as being literally more low-key than a flashy video, Marvel fans are well aware of the Loki Disney Plus show making its premiere on the platform this week. This, along with typing "lowkey" as one word, has led fans to take the message as an indirect confirmation Disney Plus will be free for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

Should the fairly overt teaser be true, it would mark the second time Microsoft's service has included Disney's as a freebie. Last November, the same Twitter account tweeted an image of characters from The Mandalorian, then revealing a free 30-day trial of Disney Plus a few days later. Given that the account hasn't tweeted any sort of teasers or hints regarding any other perks for the month, it stands to reason that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers could get a more substantial free trial period, although the theory is pure speculation at this point.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offering subscribers free access to Disney Plus, pending the actual length, looks to be a valuable bonus. While a subscription service offering a free trial to another subscription service may seem unorthodox, the practice has become commonplace. For example, Fortnite's subscription service Fortnite Crew began offering subscribers three free months of Spotify Premium as an added perk.

Whether or not another free Disney Plus trial is in the cards, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate seems to be working on making its service more enticing. Right now, subscribers can play sports titles in an effort to win one of five Xbox Series X consoles. Considering how difficult it is to get ahold of the next-gen system, this might be players' best bet on nabbing one.
