Microsoft continues to sweeten the pot when it comes to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, and now it has revealed exactly what fans can expect for December 2020. In total, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect a whopping 17 new games for the service throughout the month of December, with the first batch set to be released on December 3.

On December 3, Xbox Game Pass subscribers on console and Android (through xCloud) can look forward to playing Remedy Entertainment's award-winning game Control. Android users can also look forward to Rage 2, whereas both Android and console gamers can try out Slime Rancher. PC players with Xbox Game Pass can download Doom Eternal and Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action come December 3, with Haven set to be available for both console and PC gamers. Meanwhile, those across all three platforms will be able to download Yes, Your Grace.

Then on December 4, Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC and console can try Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age. December 8 will see the release of Call of the Sea, an Xbox console-exclusive game that will have an Xbox Series X version available alongside the Xbox One version. December 8 will also see the release of Monster Sanctuary for Android and console users, whereas PC gamers can try Starbound.

On December 9, PC and Xbox players can try Unto the End. Then on December 10, Android and console users can try Assetto Corsa, Gang Beasts, and Superhot: Mind Control Delete. Those across all three platforms will have access to GreedFall as well as Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair on December 10.

Overall, this list of Xbox Game Pass games for December 2020 is quite impressive, and may be enough to win over those who were upset by the December 2020 free Games with Gold offerings. Microsoft is clearly focusing most of its efforts on Game Pass, so it seems as though fans may want to start paying more attention to the Game Pass offerings as opposed to the free Games with Gold titles.

Looking ahead, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect Microsoft to keep releasing new titles for the service on a regular basis. It's possible that even more Xbox Game Pass titles will be revealed for December 2020, but looking ahead to January 2021, fans can expect the Xbox console exclusive horror game The Medium to join the service on day one. There will be plenty more where that came from as well, with Xbox Game Pass becoming a more appetizing prospect with each passing month.
