Microsoft added two new games to its Xbox Game Pass game subscription service, but some fans aren't happy. It had added three other games to Xbox Game Pass earlier in the month, such as Final Fantasy XV, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and the beta for Ninja Theory's new game Bleeding Edge.

On Twitter, Xbox Game Pass confirmed that there is one new game for subscribers on console to enjoy and one new game for PC subscribers. Console subscribers can now play Death Squared, a co-op puzzle game that can be played by one, two, or four people- making it a great Valentine's Day video game. Players have to help some little robots avoid hazardous and deadly traps, but they'll need good communication to do it.

The game available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC is Death's Gambit. Death's Gambit is a 2D action platformer with some RPG gameplay. The main character is Death's right-hand man and players must fight through a realm called Siradon to challenge its guardians and purge their souls. It also offers character classes, character customization, and a new game plus mode, so Xbox players who are looking for more long games to complete have hit the jackpot with this one.

The two new Xbox Game Pass games do sound like they could be good fun, but some subscribers aren't happy. In response to the tweet announcing that the new games are available on the service, many are asking when Xbox Game Pass is going to make its big, February announcement. In January, the Xbox Game Pass Twitter told fans that February was going to be a "really" good month. Many were glad when Final Fantasy XV and Wolfenstein: Youngblood were added but fans had expected something more exciting than that.

Some fans are staying hopeful though and the responses to the tweet are full of suggestions. Many fans seem to want Xbox Game Pass to add the full Yakuza series. In November, Microsoft did confirm that the Yakuza games would be coming to Xbox for the first time after only players on PC and PlayStation consoles had been able to join them.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has also just made a visit to Japan. Spencer said that this was to talk to developers about the Xbox Series X, but it's possible that he could have been confirming plans to add Yakuza to Xbox Game Pass. That's what fans are hoping for, but until an announcement is made, they'll just have to enjoy Death's Gambit and Death Squared.
