Microsoft's big gamble this generation is Xbox Game Pass, a subscription service that gives subscribers access to over 100 games in exchange for a relatively small fee. Microsoft has been going all-in on Xbox Game Pass, supporting the service with major new third-party releases as well as first-party Xbox games on the day that they release. These day one Xbox Game Pass games have been integral to the service's success, and now Microsoft has confirmed a whopping 11 more that will be added to the lineup.

10 of these new day one Xbox Game Pass titles are coming to the service thanks to a new partnership between Microsoft and Humble Games. The titles in question are Archvale, Bushiden, Chinatown Detective Agency, Dodgeball Academia, Flynn: Son of Crimson, Midnight Fight Express Next Space Rebels, Signalis, Unpacking, and Unsighted. Specific release dates for these games weren't announced, but when they do come out, fans can play them on the same day as release through Xbox Game Pass.

For those curious about these Humble Games titles coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one, here's a trailer that offers a quick look at all 10 of them:

The 11th game that Microsoft confirmed as a day one Xbox Game Pass title is a roguelike FPS called Into the Pit. Aesthetically, Into the Pit definitely seems to be taking inspiration from classic FPS games like Doom, and it will be interesting to see if it is able to live up to the high bar set by those classic FPS titles. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will find out once Into the Pit launches as a day one Xbox Game Pass game on October 19.

These 11 indie games should go a long way in padding the Xbox Game Pass lineup, but it's safe to say that many subscribers are more concerned with higher profile, bigger budget releases. Luckily, there's plenty of those on the way for Xbox Game Pass in the near future as well. Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and numerous other triple-A games are on deck for Xbox Game Pass, so there should be plenty for subscribers to play this year.

Xbox Game Pass loses games occasionally, but Microsoft adds way more games than it removes. These 10 Humble Games, Into the Pit, and the various triple-A games coming to the service should go a long way in keeping fans subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for the foreseeable future.
