Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service adds new games on a monthly basis, with the list of new titles released every two weeks or so. Microsoft has confirmed all the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first two weeks of April 2022, and soon enough it will be pulling the curtain back on all the new Xbox Game Pass games coming in the second half of April as well. But while Microsoft itself has yet to reveal the rest of the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April 2022, one has nevertheless been confirmed for the end of the month.

Indie action-RPG Unsouled is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one come its April 28 launch date. The game is currently available to play in early access through the Xbox Game Preview program, and it has been relatively well-received there. The official website states that the game takes direct inspiration from Onimusha 2 and is focused entirely on delivering "fast-paced, highly stylized combat" in an interactive environment as opposed to puzzle solving or exploration.

Unsouled has turned heads for its fast-paced combat and retro art style. As previously stated, the game's early access version has been well-received by those who have played it through Xbox Game Preview and elsewhere, but it remains to be seen how everyone will react to the final product. Luckily, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to try it out for no more than the price of their subscription fee.

At the time of this writing, Unsouled is the only game currently confirmed for Xbox Game Pass for the second half of April 2022. Microsoft will likely reveal the rest of the new Xbox Game Pass games for April 2022 later this week or early next week, so fans should stay tuned on that front. In the meantime, there are still some new Xbox Game Pass games to look forward to for the first half of April 2022.

On April 12, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check out Life is Strange: True Colors across the cloud, consoles, and PC. PC Game Pass subscribers will be able to check out Panzer Corps 2 and The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk on that day as well. April 14 will see the release of Lost in Random for those who are subscribed to PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as it's coming to the service through EA Play.

Microsoft adds new games to Xbox Game Pass all the time, but it also removes titles from the service. April 15 will see MLB The Show 21, Rain On Your Parade, The Long Dark, and Pathway removed from Xbox Game Pass, while F1 2019 is getting the boot a few days later on April 18.
