Xbox Game Pass has been a pretty sweet service so far, with Microsoft's Netflix-style game subscription allowing players access to a wide library for a monthly fee. While Game Pass got some big games in January, it appears that even more major titles are set to join the lineup next month.

Over on Twitter, the official Xbox Game Pass account teased that February will be a big month for the service. The account didn't elaborate much further, but given the emphasis on "really" throughout the post, it's safe to assume that the company has something major planned for fans. Xbox's Phil Spencer did visit Japan recently, where he discussed Game Pass and Project xCloud with developers and publishers, so it's possible that a big Japanese game could be on the way.

Of course, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Game Pass added four new games just days ago, and while there are some games leaving the service, it still maintains a strong roster. It would be wonderful to see a major game like Red Dead Redemption 2 come to Game Pass, but that may be a bit too optimistic. GTA V was only just added, despite that game being more than six years old.

Some people have had doubts about the service's success, which has lead to Phil Spencer swearing Game Pass isn't losing money. Xbox has remained tight-lipped as far as sales numbers for the better part of this console generation, so it is difficult to tell exactly how well it's doing, but for now, the service seems to be in good health.

With February right around the corner, it likely won't be too long before fans get to see what's in store for them. February is a relatively slow month for new game launches, so there likely won't be any major new releases headed onto the service, but it's certainly still possible. There's a deal for 2 months of Game Pass running right now, so it may be worth checking out the service for those that haven't quite yet. Who knows, the new additions next month may make the service an even better deal all-around.
