As Microsoft prepares to release the Xbox Series X, it is clear that Xbox Game Pass is bolstering the next generation console's lineup. Now, it appears that the Xbox team is making major additions for Game Pass members to enjoy across consoles, phones and PCs. In an announcement made today, Microsoft announced that Final Fantasy 7 HD would be one of the many popular games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month.

While the HD game might not have the sharp graphics of Final Fantasy 7's PS4 exclusive remake, it does provide Xbox fans with a version of the JRPG to enjoy. Furthermore, unlike the incomplete Remake, which currently has a second part in production, Xbox Game Pass members will be able to play the full game. Although Final Fantasy 7 HD is the most notable game, Microsoft has also added some newer and notable titles to its release schedule for non-RPG fans.

According to the Xbox Wire blog post, Darksiders Genesis and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan will be available exclusively for the Xbox One. The other five games, Final Fantasy 7 HD, It Lurks Below, Trailmakers, Undermine and Xeno Crisis are both available for PC and console users. Every title except for Final Fantasy, which releases on August 13, will be available on August 6. Microsoft also reminded Game Pass users that F1 2019 is already available after its addition last week. The company also promoted Desolation, a free No Man's Sky update which advances the game's narrative with new combat encounters on shipwrecked freighters.

After teasing some updates to the Xbox Game Pass mobile app, Microsoft also teased some new perks for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users, including a new cosmetic and currency bundle for Sea of Thieves players, an Phantasy Star Online 2 update bonus, new World of Tanks and World of Warship packs, and 15 Esoteric Scrolls from Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. All of these benefits will be available on August 5.

Many Game Pass users expressed their enthusiasm at this month's lineup. Players are specifically looking forward to Darksiders Genesis and Man of Medan. Regarding Final Fantasy 7 HD's announcement, most responses stated that they would be more enthusiastic to see the remaster of Final Fantasy X. Hopefully, Microsoft's offerings continue to build up and keep Xbox fans hyped up for its consoles.
