Xbox Game Pass has become a very enticing streaming service since being released. Not only does Xbox Game Pass boast a library of over 100 titles, but it also has Cloud Gaming support, and will now have Amazon Alexa support. As of today, Alexa is able to download a Game Pass title with a simple question. For those who already have Alexa linked to an Xbox, the new feature does not require another skill to be downloaded in the Amazon Alexa app.

Xbox launched the Alexa app merely a few weeks ago, and now is expanding features. For those who have not linked Alexa with Xbox, the process is fairly easy. When first asking Alexa to download an Xbox Game Pass game, users will be asked to set up the link and will need to download the Xbox skill in the Amazon Alexa app.

After setting up the link between the Alexa app and the Xbox, players can then simply ask Alexa to download a Game Pass title such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Prey, Outriders, or many other titles available. Users will also be able to ask Alexa what is new or popular on Game Pass, or find out what games are leaving the library soon. The ability to download games with voice, or find out the latest titles on Game Pass may be very handy for many Alexa and Xbox owners.

The feature is now available in the US, and other regions are planned for the future. With so many titles launching on Xbox Game Pass, players will be able to download them with ease now that Alexa has support with Game Pass. Xbox players with Alexa linked can now say "Alexa, download MLB The Show 21 on Xbox Game Pass" and the title will start to download. The title officially releases on April 20th, but Xbox Game Pass owners can pre-load MLB The Show 21 now so they can play the minute it releases.

Xbox Game Pass is becoming more and more innovative. Downloading games before release with just a voice was unheard of and now players can thanks to Alexa and Microsoft. The partnership with Amazon Alexa is just one of the features that makes Xbox Game Pass so enticing. Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda is also a big move for Xbox Game Pass, since every Bethesda title is said to be launching on the streaming service as well.

Xbox Game Pass may be expanding even more soon, as Xbox Cloud Gaming is still planning a launch on iOS devices in 2021. Microsoft also recently added touch controls to more than 5o xCloud gaming titles, which may be playable on iPhones soon.
