Xbox's Game Awards sale for 2022 has begun and is allowing players to get nearly 100 titles, including Cyberpunk 2077, Destiny 2, and Assassin's Creed for discounted prices. The Xbox sale will likely continue until December 11, which means that Xbox players have a few days to take advantage of the sale. Some of the Game Awards nominees that are included in the sale are A Plague Tale: Requiem, As Dusk Falls, and Tunic.

Since the nominees for Game of the Year were announced by The Game Awards in November, many people have been trying to predict the Game of the Year winner. As such, now is a perfect time for players to get A Plague Tale: Requiem, one of the nominees, before the victor is announced.

The Xbox game sale, in honor of The Game Awards, includes many AAA titles that fans have come to know and love. The sale includes both games in the Plague Tale series, many Resident Evil titles, Fallout 4, two Wolfenstein games, and the two most recent Assassin's Creed titles. Some of the games, like Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Ultimate Edition, are up to 75% off. Indeed, players should take advantage of the sale now that Xbox game prices will be increasing in the coming year.

The Game Awards will begin at 8 PM Eastern Time on December 8. Many games from Xbox Game Pass have been nominated for various awards, some of which are on sale as part of the current game sale, like As Dusk Falls. The Game Awards will also feature new games that players have been patiently anticipating, such as the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. There has also been talk about a few major expansions making an appearance, such as the next DLC for Destiny 2 and the Phantom Liberty add-on for Cyberpunk 2077.

Regardless of the events at The Game Awards, however, players will be able to get deals on new and epic titles. The Xbox sale seems to be yet another example of the Xbox Team's dedication to players, and will help gamers get their hands on 2022 titles in time for the holiday season. Of course, not all of 2022's celebrated games are on sale, nor are some of the biggest expansions of the year. But the sale is still a nice thing to see as 2023 approaches, and will hopefully let fans engage with new content that they haven't yet been able to play.
