With just two days left in June, Microsoft has finally announced the Xbox Free Games with Gold for July 2019. The Xbox free games for July 2019 offer a $62.96 value, and they give players the opportunity to add 3,200 more gamerscore to their profile if they are able to unlock all of the achievements.

As announced by Xbox's Major Nelson on Twitter, the Xbox free games for July 2019 include the critically-acclaimed indie hit Inside, which will be available from July 1 to July 31. Inside stands as one of the highest-rated games of the current-generation, earning a great deal of praise for its story and atmosphere.

Later in the month, Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold subscription will be able to download Big Crown Showdown. Big Crown Showdown will be available to download from July 16 until August 15.

Meanwhile, on the Xbox 360 side of things, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will once again have two free games to download. The Xbox free games for July 2019 on Xbox 360 will start off with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from July 1 to July 15. Symphony of the Night is often listed as one of the best video games of all time, and it helped create what is now called as the Metroidvania genre that is still going strong today. With the recently released Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night largely based on the Symphony of the Night blueprint, it's fitting that it's one of the Xbox free games for July 2019.

On July 16, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will be replaced by a licensed game in Meet the Robinsons. Meet the Robinsons is based on the 2007 Disney film of the same name, and it earned mediocre reviews compared to the other games in the Xbox Free Games with Gold for July 2019 lineup.

Meanwhile, Xbox Live Gold subscribers still have time to download the free games for June 2019. This includes NHL 19 and Rivals of Aether on Xbox One, as well as Earth Defense Force 2017 on Xbox 360.
