Sci-fi RPG Starfield, for instance, will not be featured as it was announced that Starfield will have its own standalone showcase. The Xbox and Bethesda event itself comes after Microsoft had little to nothing to show at The Game Awards in 2022.Despite Starfield’s absence in the upcoming showcase, the lineup for the event is still impressive. Several AAA developers are expected to provide tons of new information on upcoming titles. The game studios involved include Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios. The content of the Developer Direct will deep-dive into Xbox games by providing extended gameplay sneak peeks, showcasing major features, and giving the latest information on what to expect overall. The aforementioned developers attending the event will focus on some of their major titles, which include Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.
The Elder Scrolls Online standalone part of the show will be hosted by ZeniMax Online Studios, which holds more exciting information about “in-depth details ESO players will be keen to know.” Not much is known about what exactly those details will entail, but it might explain more about what the upcoming major update to ESO will hold.
