In anticipation for this Thursday's upcoming Inside Xbox, a digital presentation that will see the reveal of multiple third-party next generation titles, Microsoft has announced Xbox 20/20. Xbox 20/20 is planned to be a series of monthly events dedicated to revealing new information regarding Xbox Series X, Xbox Games Studios, Xbox Games Pass and xCloud.

Microsoft's head of gaming marketing Jarett West released a post on the official Xbox blog, Xbox Wire, stating detailing what the rest of 2020 will look like for Xbox fans, including details on when we will be able to see and hear more news on Xbox Series X and its upcoming launch lineup. According to Jarett, this Thursday's Inside Xbox will be entirely dedicated to third-party Xbox Series X titles. Microsoft will be ready to show what its first-party teams have been up to this coming July, where it will hold a presentation dedicated entirely to Xbox Game Studios games.

What we also learned from this post was that the Inside Xbox coming later this week will also reveal more games intended to launch with Xbox Series X's "Smart Delivery" feature, a function that allows players to upgrade their Xbox One versions of certain games to the enhanced next-generation versions.

While both May and July's updates have been detailed, Xbox 20/20 is planned to bring monthly announcements regarding the future of Xbox right up until the end of 2020, with the blog post detailing the company's previously announced plans for the year, such as the global launches of Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite this holiday, the reveal of upcoming titles from all 15 Xbox Game Studios teams, upcoming PC and Xbox Game Pass titles such as Minecraft Dungeons, Wasteland 3, Halo Infinite, and Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the expansion of xCloud to more territories around the world.

Microsoft is planning to kick off the next-generation with a bang with Xbox 20/20 and while it's exciting to see what comes next, it's looking like we won't have to wait long with titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla already confirmed to be taking part in this week's Inside Xbox. This announcement also gives us an idea as to when we will finally get to see some of Microsoft's first-party titles such as Halo Infinite and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2.

Xbox Series X is planned to launch worldwide in holiday 2020.
