Although there still are a ton of movie theaters still shut down around the US, people can still get some great summer movies while sitting at home with Disney+ this summer. The streaming service will be adding big movies like a Broadway production of Hamilton, Incredibles 2, and even some recent X-Men movies.

Disney+ is the newest in a long line of streaming services, similar to Netflix. With big names in the industry skipping the theaters, like the new SpongeBob SquarePants movie Sponge on the Runit's not a surprise that people are flocking to streaming services for their entertainment. So when Disney+ announced the addition of some big summer movies, it made a splash in the news.

This summer, Disney+ will be adding X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) on July 10th,  X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) on July 17th, X-Men (2000) August 7th, and The Wolverine (2013) on September 4th. These will be free for Disney+ subscribers, and will add to the already massive library of Marvel movies available to stream on the service, including an upcoming She-Hulk series featuring Mark Ruffalo. All this means a lot of summer watching for superhero fans from every generation.

With all this attention for the X-Men and the MCU in general, fans are hoping to see a lot more of these superheroes coming to the Disney+ lineup in the upcoming year. Hopefully, everyone will get to see even more old shows and movies moved to the platform while the MCU gives some "failed" superheroes a second chance in the theaters.
