On Monday, April 15, WWE Raw debuted a new main roster tag team called The Viking Experience. Formerly known as War Machine in ROH and War Raiders in NXT, the team of Hanson and Rowe (now known as Ivar and Erik, respectively) have been mocked online for the name change, but now the Internet has found yet another reason to make fun of the unlucky tag team.

When The Viking Experience debuted on Raw, they also received new graphics for their entrance. This included a new logo for their team, which appears to literally be an image of the Iron Shield from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, except with bull horns photoshopped onto it. Twitter user AdamHatesLife noticed the similarities between the Skyrim shield and The Viking Experience entrance logo and shared his discovery on Twitter.

The original tweet by AdamHatesLife has since been re-tweeted over 500 times, with 1.3 thousand likes and 45 comments. Many of the comments join in on making fun of the WWE for seemingly stealing the Skyrim shield to make a logo for their new tag team, and some even express hope that Bethesda will sue WWE for the incident and force the company to revert The Viking Experience back to War Raiders.

If nothing else, this incident just shows how deeply Skyrim has penetrated pop culture. The game has remained one of the most popular video games ever since its 2011 debut, and thanks to frequent re-releases by Bethesda, has managed to remain one of the top open world RPGs out there.

Skyrim's enhanced port to current-generation consoles has certainly helped the game stay fresh in the minds of gamers, as has the Skyrim Switch port. The Skyrim Switch port has earned quite a bit of praise in particular, as being able to take Skyrim on the go is a big selling point for many gamers.

In the meantime, some gamers have had their fill of Skyrim and are looking to the future to see what Bethesda has in store with the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6. News on that game isn't expected for some time, but we do know that it will scan-in real-world environments, and that the Skyrim Grandma will be an NPC.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
