WWE 2K23 has confirmed more legends for the game's roster, including some of the top stars from the Attitude Era. WWE video games have included legends for decades now, giving wrestling fans the chance to pit today's against the stars of the past in dream matches that could never happen in real life.

The WWE 2K23 roster will mostly consist of the biggest superstars from today. Fans can count on all the most notable WWE stars currently appearing on the promotion's television to appear in WWE 2K23, with previous gameplay footage and trailers confirming everyone from Roman Reigns to Ronda Rousey. Some legends have previously been confirmed as well, like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Undertaker, but now the game has confirmed even more old-school stars.

While reiterating that Stone Cold and The Undertaker are going to be a part of the WWE 2K23 roster, some other legends were also confirmed for the lineup. As revealed by WWE 2K23, multi-time world champion Booker T will be in the game, joined by Lita, Beth Phoenix, and Chyna. Other previously confirmed legends include Hulk Hogan, Batista, The Rock, Kurt Angle, and Rob Van Dam, and it's possible even more will make the final cut.

Chyna's inclusion on the WWE 2K23 roster is good to see. Once one of the promotion's biggest and most recognizable stars, there once was a 19-year gap between Chyna's WWE video game appearances. She made her long-awaited return to WWE video games with the critically-panned WWE 2K20, but was thankfully brought back for WWE 2K Battlegrounds and WWE 2K22. There are many WWE fans who feel like Chyna should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as an individual and not just as part of the D-Generation X group, but while it remains to be seen if that will ever happen, at least she is finally being featured in the video games in the meantime.

WWE 2K23 is turning back the clock in more ways than just by including legends on the roster. The WWE 2K23 Icon Edition comes with the Ruthless Aggression Pack that adds old-school variants of Ruthless Aggression stars John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar based on how they appeared in WWE's old developmental promotion, Ohio Valley Wrestling. Back then, John Cena was known as Prototype and Batista was called Leviathan and their characters weren't quite the same as their eventual WWE personas, offering fans a fresh way to play as these stars.

WWE 2K23 launches March 17 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
