WWE 2K20 is set to launch at the end of October, boasting the best visual presentation in series history. 2K Sports and Visual Concepts recently gave fans a closer look at just how visually impressive WWE 2K20 will be with a new video that shows Samoa Joe's entrance.
The Samoa Joe entrance video in WWE 2K20 has incredible detail and really shows just how far the WWE video games have come over the last couple of console generations. The Samoa Joe entrance video is also one of our most extended looks at in-game footage from the upcoming wrestling title yet. Based on the menu button icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, it appears as though the footage was captured from an Xbox One console, but all versions of the game should feature impressive graphics.
This video also officially confirms Samoa Joe for the WWE 2K20 roster. Most all of the current WWE superstars will be included as playable characters in the game, joined by some supernatural variants of themselves in the Bump in the Night DLC that will be out on launch day.
More wrestlers will be confirmed for WWE 2K20's roster in the weeks leading up to launch. Fans can also expect 2K Sports to release more footage of the game, perhaps focusing on MyCareer mode. We haven't actually seen the WWE 2K20 MyCareer mode in action just yet, but we do know that it will finally allow players to play as women wrestlers. WWE's women wrestlers will also be represented in the 2K Showcase mode, which will focus on the Four Horsewomen of the WWE - Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks.
2K Sports may release videos focusing on some of the other WWE 2K20 game modes as well. And maybe if Xavier Woods was successful in getting General Manager mode added to WWE 2K20, maybe we'll get a video announcing it.
While WWE 2K20 fans wait for more information on the upcoming wrestling game, they can pass the time checking out the new Samoa Joe entrance video, and pore over previously-revealed footage of the Roman Reigns Tower mode.
WWE 2K20 launches on October 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
