WWE 2K20 is set to launch on October 22, and it's bringing with it one of the most unique modes that we've seen for a professional wrestling game. The WWE 2K20 Originals mode transforms the world of the WWE to fit a variety of different themes, and now all four WWE 2K20 Originals have been revealed.

We've known about the Bump in the Night DLC for quite some time, but now we can confirm that it will be followed by Wasteland Wanderers in late 2019, as well as Southpaw Regional Wrestling and Empire of Tomorrow at an undetermined point in the future. The Bump in the Night DLC will be horror-themed, whereas Wasteland Wanderers looks like a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic wasteland. Southpaw Regional Wrestling is based on the fictional parody wrestling company of the same name that can be watched on the WWE Network, and Empire of Tomorrow looks like a sci-fi, futuristic take on WWE.

Unfortunately, those who want the WWE 2K20 Originals will either have to purchase them separately or pick up the Deluxe or Collector's Editions of the game. Those who pre-order any version of WWE 2K20 will get the Bump in the Night DLC at least, which is nice since it's day one DLC. The Bump in the Night DLC also includes fan-favorite character "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, so at least those who purchase in advance won't have to pay extra to play as him.

The WWE 2K20 Originals is an interesting experiment, and if it's successful, one has to imagine that more unique content will be in the works for future games. However, it remains to be seen if fans will enjoy having these supernatural elements mixed in with the other game modes, but that appears to be what's happening with WWE 2K20.

The WWE 2K20 MyCareer mode will include some horror themes, and in fact, will have players travel to what appears to be literally Hell itself. It's unclear just how hard the WWE 2K20 MyCareer mode will lean into these kinds of elements, but they definitely seem to be a big focus based on the trailer.

Luckily, pro wrestling fans won't have to wait much longer to find out, as WWE 2K20's launch is just days away.

WWE 2K20 launches on October 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
