With every new WWE 2K game and premium DLC comes new moves as well. This keeps customization options updated with recent moves seen in WWE and other wrestling outlets such as TNA, AEW, and NJPW. WWE 2k20 has nearly 200 new moves from the previous installment, 2k19. Some of these are newly added fresh moves, while others are re-animated moves from the previous games.

However, there are some hidden gems in this 200-item collection that are candidates for moves that can kill, moves that cause serious permanent damage, career-ending maneuvers, and moves that are just downright insane. As dangerous as they are to perform in the ring, they are really fun to perform in video games. That being said, here are the 10 most dangerous new moves in WWE 2k20.

10 Avalanche Poison Rana

WWE-2K20-Avalanche-Poison-Rana-Wrestling-Move

The 'Avalanche Poison Rana' is a reverse frankensteiner from the turnbuckle. The recipient stands on either of the turnbuckles for an elevated effect of the setup. The attacker then wraps his opponent's head with his legs, keeping it snug around the thighs, then the calves. The attacker then performs a handspring, hurling his opponent overhead in a rotation. The increased momentum of the rotation plunges the opponent's head down to the mat. The attacker doesn't hurl the opponent but rather smashes his face to the ground.

9 Rope-Assisted Double Stomp

The 'Rope-Assisted Double Stomp' has the attacker run-up to an opponent leaning on the bottom turnbuckle. This already gains a lot of momentum.

As the attacker approaches, he slingshots himself up by jumping on the second ropes. This hurls him up in the air to deliver a devastating double-foot stomp as he crashes down into the seated opponent's chest cavity. This risks breaking a couple of ribs, and worse, the sternum. It may also cause some complicated breathing and some internal bleeding.

8 Double Underhook Brainbuster

Double underhook moves to the head (i.e. Pedigree, Butterfly DDT) are dangerous. They prevent the recipient from cushioning the fall with their hands. The textbook brainbuster move, a move that smashes the opponent's head to the floor, is already deadly enough.

If the attacker modifies the move by double underhooking the recipient, then it's a recipe for disaster. The 'Double Underhook Brainbuster' hoists the recipient upwards while hooking both his arms. Once the recipient is up there, he is sent crashing down to the floor at a snappy speed. The move risks neck and head injury.

7 Fisherman Buster

The 'Fisherman Buster' is another modified brainbuster. The move has always been in WWE 2K games, however, 'Fisherman Buster 1' is a new addition. Before sending the opponent down to the mat, the attacker hooks one of the recipient's legs. This puts the opponent in a cradle position. What this does is that it focuses the force on the opponent's neck and upper back.

Additionally, it will cause the opponent's weight to act as a nutcracker towards his neck as he crashes down to the mat. This maneuver is very dangerous as it can uncomfortably bend the neck forward.

6 Spirit Bomb

As often as powerbombs are performed, they are also very risky maneuvers. The 'Spirit Bomb' is a modified pop-up powerbomb. The recipient elevates the opponent further into the air by outstretching his arms before slamming him down to the ground.

This move is similar to the Undertaker's Last Ride and is performed by NXT superstar Keith Lee. The elevated height from which the recipient is hurled downward from has enough force to potentially crack his neck and shoulders.

5 Tombstone Piledriver

Piledrivers are dangerous. As often as Undertaker performs the move, it doesn't make it any less lethal. The dead man knows how to deliver the move. A lot of wrestlers don't. The 'Tombstone Piledriver' grips the opponent in a way that when the attacker leaps and lands on his knees, the recipient's head caves into the ground. The new and improved 'Tombstone Piledriver' in 2K20 adds a subtle animation where the opponent's head bends from the sudden impact.

Enough piledrivers could lead to cracks in the skull, and possibly some neck injuries. It doesn't take long for the brain to stop functioning afterward. Steve Austin suffered a broken neck after Owen Hart miscalculated a sit-out piledriver on him.

4 Seventh Heaven

On the topic of Steve Austin breaking his neck, the move performed on him was a sit-out piledriver. That's what 'Seventh Heaven' is. The move is rarely performed by NXT superstar Trent Seven. The move takes the opponent in an upside-down position as the attacker clings to him. The attacker won't immediately crash him down to the floor, however. The attacker rotates before slamming the opponent's head down to the floor to build momentum and maximize the downward force. Like the tombstone, this move risks head and neck injury, and possibly brain damage.

3 Burning Hammer

The highly dangerous burning hammer move has always been in WWE 2k games. 'Burning Hammer 2' on the other hand has been modified in WWE 2k20. The move bridges the opponent supine on the attacker's shoulders.

Then, from the torture rack position, the attacker sends the opponent's head smashing down to the ground from the elevated height. The height from where the opponent's head falls from is the same as a brainbuster, however, the recipient lands in such a way that the force is focused entirely on his head and neck.

2 Rolling Cutter

WWE-2K20-Rolling-Cutter-Wrestling-Move

The rolling cutter forcibly unscrews the opponent's head from his chest like a pickle jar lid snapped to open. The attacker starts the move with an inverted suplex setup. As the opponent is lifted upwards, the attacker rapidly turns a full 180 to reposition the drop to a cutter. The rapid turn cranks the neck with enough force to snap the head off of the spine.

The force is deepened and the head is cranked further as the attacker slams downwards to perform a cutter. This thrusts the attacker's shoulder against the recipient's throat, but the downward crashing force will definitely cause a snapped neck. As dangerous as this is, it isn't anywhere near as severe as the next entry on this list

1 Cave In

WWE-2K20-Cave-In-Wrestling-Move

As Thanos once said, "you should have aimed for the head." 'Cave In' does just that. It is the simplest move on this list but also the most violent, the most ruthless, and the most dangerous. The attacker jumps up, stomps on the head of a standing opponent, and sends the noggin crashing down to the mat. With nothing else to break the fall of the attacker, all that force squashes the opponent's head like a zombie hit with a barbed wire studded bat. After this move, all that should be left is a puddle of blood .
