For the first time in years, the controversial wrestling personality Chyna will be featured in a new game - WWE 2K20. This marks her first appearance since WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role, and fans are excited that WWE is bringing her back into the spotlight.
Chyna will be available at launch for all of those who purchase the Deluxe or Collector's Edition of WWE 2K20. There is no confirmation if she will be available for purchase as separate DLC just yet, but historically, Deluxe/Collector’s edition characters become available for all to purchase eventually.
The late female superstar had some impressive accolades, such as being a former WWF Women’s Champion and a two-time International Champion. While her controversial pursuits outside of wrestling often shadows her accomplishments in the eyes of some, it’s hard to deny the impact she made on women’s wrestling. Aside from her championships, she’s a 2019 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, and was a major part of the popular stable D-Generation X.
Chyna isn’t the only legend expected to join the list of playable characters in WWE 2K20. Other legends include The Rock, Mankind, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Papa Shango, Hulk Hogan, and more to be revealed in the future. Current-roster superstars revealed so far include Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, Asuka, The Street Profits, and Bray Wyatt.
Lots of news surrounding WWE 2K20 has been making the rounds on social media lately. Between its trailer, cover art featuring Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns, among other recent news, fans of WWE games have plenty to be excited about.
WWE 2K20 will bring new changes to MyCareer mode - female wrestlers will finally get their chance to shine. Following up from last year’s MyCareer mode with Daniel Bryan, this year's story mode will follow the journey of The Four Horsewomen, the group that started in NXT which includes Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks. The mode will allow players to live and play through their rise to the top of the women’s division in the WWE.
Another exciting addition is the WWE 2K20 Originals DLC that will be available post-launch. This will feature unique spins on some favorite characters like Frankenbraun, Swamp Monster Bray Wyatt, and more. Not much else is given, though it will be interesting to see a supernatural spin taking place in a real-world setting.
WWE 2K20 releases October 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
