In the early days of World of Warcraft, raids were an activity that many players could never experience. To seriously tackle an old school raid players likely needed to earn a spot in an organized guild and wrangle the schedule of 20 to 40 players. These days raids have become much more accessible thanks to the Raid Finder feature. That said, organized guilds still get the benefit of being first to the action by a few weeks.

When WoW Dragonflight launches in late November, players will begin grinding towards the new level cap and then getting their item level in shape for endgame content. There will be a handful of endgame dungeons for fans of 5-player challenges, but Vault of the Incarnates will be the first major raid released in the game.

Vault of the Incarnates won't be available right at launch, so don't feel too much pressure to race through the leveling content. Players will first be able to access the raid in mid-December and from there the Raid Finder wings will gradually roll out in the following weeks between December 19 and January 16. Players have some pretty awesome armor sets to collect from the Vault of the Incarnates raid, so expect it to be a popular one.

That should be everything both pre-made raid groups and Raid Finder fans need to know to plan out their schedules for the coming Vault of the Incarnates raid release. More exact details about item level requirements and any quest prerequisites should arrive in the coming weeks as Dragonflight goes live and players dive into all of the new Dragonflight expansion's content. Players will also want to familiarize themselves with all of the boss mechanics and strategies before queuing up for Raid Finder, but there's still lots of time for that. To start, players will just need to hit max level by powering through the new zones and then the endgame conquest can begin.
