Although the Battle for Azeroth expansion released many months ago, World of Warcraft players have plenty to stay busy with thanks to patch 8.3. The Visions of N'Zoth patch introduced a ton of new features and a new weekly gameplay loop to keep players busy with assaults, daily quests, and Horrific Visions.

World of Warcraft's weekly reset arrived yesterday and brought with it a new rank cap for the Legendary Cloak that was introduced with 8.3's release. The cloak is a very powerful item and players need to level it up as much as possible not only to increase their item level, but also to increase their corruption resistance and sanity loss reduction percentage.

Leveling up the cloak is a fairly simple process and can be done either as a small group or solo, no matter which class you play. The hardest part about earning new ranks is really completing the weekly assault and daily quest grind to earn enough resources to purchase entry to the Horrific Visions. Assuming players are able to gain access to the instanced experience, completing the requirements for ranking up are pretty straightforward at this point.

What is the new cloak rank this week?

Max Rank - 10

Item Level - 488

Corruption Resistance - 35

Sanity Reduction Percentage - 50

How to get to rank 10

To increase the ranking of the Legendary Cloak, players simply need to complete the weekly quest from Wrathion, which can be picked up at the Heart Forge. Obviously reaching ranking ten will require working through all of the prior ranks that came before. Players who are just getting started will be able to catch up eventually, but it will likely take at least a few weeks and a ton of grinding daily quests and assaults.
