Whether some people casually play for the story or push their limits in mythic-level raiding, World of Warcraft is an immersive experience for everyone. While the in-game universe is filled with many secrets to discover, once-in-a-while a challenge comes along that can only be solved by very dedicated players working together. Time and time again, these secret hunters have cracked the toughest puzzles and they've recently managed to do so again with the Jenafur battle pet.
Jenafur is a void cat and one of several secrets stealthily added in Patch 8.2.5. Since then, the community had figured out how to acquire everything except the elusive cat for nearly one year. After months of being stuck, however, a new breakthrough means that players can now adopt their own Jenafur with a few complex steps.
Amara Lunastar
To start this journey, players first need to speak with an NPC named Amara Lunastar. She can be found at the House of Edune located in the western part of Ashenvale. The quickest way to Ashenvale will be through the Darkshore portal if the player's faction currently controls it. Otherwise, Horde characters can fly there from Orgrimmar while the Alliance's quickest way is taking the Mount Hyjal portal before flying over. After arriving, interact with Amara to learn about her missing cat and click on the dialogue 'I will keep an eye out for it'.
Empty Dish
The next step involves inspecting an empty dish inside Donni Anthania's house. This crazy cat lady's home is inside Elwynn Forest near the Human starting area of Northshire. This time, Alliance players have an easier time since they can portal to Stormwind which is right next to the house. On the other hand, any Horde characters must portal to Blackrock Mountain or the Twilight Highlands before flying over. Once there, look in the corner and click on the empty dish to unlock the final part.
Karazhan
The last part to finding Jenafur has players return to Karazhan, Medivh's citadel in Deadwind Pass. Note that the puzzle is within the Legion dungeon accessed through the side instead of the tower's main entrance down below. After entering, players need to pick up several pieces of food scattered throughout the instance. Each dish can be found between the second and third bosses, Moroes and the Maiden of Virtue. Note that each item only lasts 5 minutes so be quick about grabbing them all and bringing them back to the Opera Hall.

- 2 Fishy Bits
- 2 Marbled Steaks
- 1 Slathered Rib
- 1 Meaty Morsel
World of Warcraft players then need to place each piece of food on a specific tile in the Opera Hall. If done correctly, Jenafur will emerge and allow anyone to collect her. At this point, anyone else who has finished the Ashenvale and Elwynn Forest steps can also come in to grab Jenafur without needing to solve the puzzle themselves.
