The release date for the next major content update for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic was recently revealed. When the update goes live, World of Warcraft Classic players can tackle the Ulduar raid, complete new dailies, and gear up in all new ways.The Secrets of Ulduar patch for Wrath of the Lich King Classic heralds the return of the titular Ulduar raid. Players can delve into the depths of the ancient Titan facility to learn the forgotten history of the Titans, battle the corrupted Keepers, and face down the World of Warcraft Old God Yogg-Saron.RELATED: World of Warcraft Player Finds 'Justice League' Group in GameThe ancient gates of Ulduar open on January 19 at 3 p.m. PST. However, Wrath of the Lich King Classic players can start enjoying what the patch has to offer as early as January 17. A new raid tier means new gear, so Wrath of the Lich King Classic players can buy new collectibles and equipment with Emblems of Conquest earned from challenging content. The Argent Tournament is also opening in Icecrown, giving players the chance to start completing dailies before the Trial of the Crusader raid opens in a few months.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic PvP also gets its next season for Arena, meaning qualifying players from Season 5 can expect their Furious Gladiator titles and Furious Gladiator’s Frost Wyrm mounts soon. Lastly, a new mechanic called Titan Rune Dungeons is being added to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. After the patch, Mysterious Titan Relics will be found outside all level 80 Heroic dungeons. If a group activates a relic, bosses in the dungeon will drop items from the 10-man versions of the Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and The Obsidian Sanctum raids–but the enemies encountered within will be empowered with extra health, damage, and effects.

Players are excited to dig into the next section of Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The rerelease of the popular World of Warcraft expansion is a few months old now, making it the perfect time to introduce new content. Ulduar is an especially infamous raid, so players are eager to challenge its difficult bosses once again.

World of Warcraft players have plenty to keep them busy for the next few months. In addition to Secrets of Ulduar coming to Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Dragonflight players can expect Patch 10.0.5 near the end of January or early February. This patch will add a new daily area, customizations, and the Trading Post rewards system. With Patch 10.0.7 coming soon after, World of Warcraft players have a lot to look forward to in early 2023.
