World of Warcraft's upcoming expansion Shadowlands, which has been delayed until some point later this year, takes heroes of Azeroth into the realm of the dead for an extended adventure for the first time since the MMO launched nearly two decades ago. That means that there is the opportunity to run into plenty of characters who have passed on throughout the years during the game's many violent conflicts.

Although many of the deceased characters who are likely to receive the spotlight in the expansion's narrative were likely very important and powerful characters when they roamed with the living in Azeroth, those won't be the only NPCs many players are keeping an eye out for. The Afterlives animated shorts offered a look at what some of those famous faces of Azeroth are up to in the Shadowlands, but many World of Warcraft players have been looking for one other particular soul as they explore the Shadowlands beta.

Consider this a final spoiler warning before the true fate of one of WoW Classic's most famous and popular mysteries is revealed...

Since WoW launched, players have been obsessed with the fate of Mankrik's wife in the Barrens. The NPC, Olgra, had met a terrible fate before player characters were ever able to meet her, but many fans had hope that she could have potentially found a new path in the Shadowlands. After years of wondering, it appears players are finally going to get a chance to see Olgra "alive" and well when they visit the Shadowlands.

WoW Shadowlands Olgra

Beta players have finally tracked down Mankrik's wife, who is now called Decimator Olgra in Shadowlands. That means that players will be able to visit Maldraxxus and find her when Shadowlands is eventually launched sometime before 2021 rolls around. The NPC is located in the Burning Thicket, which is in the western end of Maldraxxus.

Olgra has clearly come a long way since she was first mentioned in the Lost in Battle quest text and many fans of WoW have been speculating about whether she would appear in Shadowlands or not since the expansion's theme and setting were first announced. Once the new content goes live and players have a chance to fully explore the Shadowlands, it will be very exciting to see what other characters from WoW's long history show up in the realm of the dead.

Be sure to check back in the coming weeks as more details about Shadowlands emerge. Until then, For the Horde!
