World of Warcraft: Legion has been incredibly successful and the recent launch of the Tomb of Sargeras content has given players a chance to face off against a new big bad in a raid format. Despite the popularity of the new raid, there will always be a part of the community that is nostalgic for the old days of 40-player punishingly difficult encounters. When talking about those old, messy battles, storming Naxxramas is always a fan favorite memory.

The World of Warcraft Naxxramas raid, which was considered the most difficult pre-Burning Crusade raid by many players, eventually got toned down in difficulty, but it originally had some of the most iconic fights in the early days of the MMO. The fans loved the raid so much, that one vanilla WoW enthusiast recently created a brand-new trailer for the old school raid.

Here's a look at the Naxxramas trailer created by Hurricane...

The trailer does a fantastic job of taking Blizzard's modern style of in-game footage based trailers and combining it with footage from vanilla WoW content. Many of the raid's bosses and trash mobs are featured in the pump-up video and there's a good amount of lore too. When it comes to vanilla WoW fans, that's just about everything they need.

Players who weren't around for the days of original Naxxramas may not get goosebumps when the old bosses appear on screen, but even without that context, it is still an entertaining and exciting WoW trailer. The debate about Legacy WoW servers rages on, but there's no denying that at least a vocal minority would love to have the option to play the old school version of the game.
