World of Warcraft's hotly anticipated Trading Post finally opens its doors this month, and it brings with it a treasure trove of exciting cosmetics for players to obtain. This feature is finally bringing many unobtainable and lost cosmetics to the masses, and it will hopefully be one of the first major pieces of World of Warcraft content that persists across multiple expansions. It has the chance to really change the game for the better, and the first month seems to be starting the offerings off on a high note.

Players that interact with the WoW Trading Post feature can obtain all sorts of new cosmetics for their collections. There are mounts, pets, armor sets, and a slew of different weapon appearances on offer here. Some of them are returning cosmetics, but a several seem to be never-before-seen items. While not every item is worth the price, there are a ton of new cosmetics that players should try to snag before the month is over.

Celestial Steed

WoW Celestial Steed

The Celestial Steed is probably the coolest and most sought after item in World of Warcraft’s Trading Post this month. This steed was the first ever mount released on Blizzard’s cash shop, and it was removed from sale in January of this year. It has now returned as the first mount from the Trading Post, and players can grab it for 900 Trader’s Tender. Its starry form is a sight to behold, and it seems like the perfect horse to ride into battle against the Primalists.

Ash’adar, Harbinger of Dawn

WoW Ash'adar

Ash’adar, Harbinger of Dawn is not technically sold at the Trading Post, but players do earn this beautiful mount by interacting with the feature. Players need to finish tasks in the new Traveler’s Log to earn Travel Points, and they will unlock Ash’adar once they earn 1,000. Players who are trying to earn Traveler’s Tender should have no problem earning this mount, and it is definitely worth the grind. It is not quite clear if this mount will be unobtainable once March rolls around, but if it follows the example of the Trading Post catalog, then players may only have until the end of the month to claim it.

Fury of the Firelord

WoW Fury of the Firelord

Fury of the Firelord is a powerful looking flail that will be perfect for anyone who carries a mace into battle. There are not many flails in World of Warcraft, but this weapon will hopefully give players that flail fantasy. It looks like it would go perfectly with any fire-based transmog, and should really help bring such an outfit together. It is a one-handed cosmetic item, so players should be able to wield two into battle. Anyone who wants to snag this cosmetic will have to spend 750 Trader’s Tender, and they will want to make sure they have a character who is able to wield maces.

Garrlok

WoW Garrlok

Some World of Warcraft players just want to collect all the Warcraft battle pets they can, and the Trading Post has answered those needs with a brand-new pet named Garrlok. He is a tiny Ogre pet that seems like a great companion to traverse the Dragon Isles with. Ancient Gorlan blood apparently runs through this little guy, and his small stature is the only thing keeping his ambitions in check. He is the perfect addition to anyone’s pet collection, and all it takes is 750 Trader’s Tender.

There are so many exciting cosmetics that players can grab, and every month will bring with it a new catalog for players to peruse. While there is no way to buy it all, items that rotate out will eventually rotate back in. It should be pretty easy for players to earn Tender and buy what they want just by playing the game. It seems like a great new feature for cosmetic enthusiasts, and it will be very interesting to see how the feature plays out in the long run.
