With the next era of World of Warcraft imminent, Blizzard has released a couple of videos to showcase features coming in the Dragonflight Pre-Patch and expansion release. These videos show off some of the awesome mechanics World of Warcraft is adding in Dragonflight.

The first phase of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s Pre-Patch began on October 25, with the second phase beginning on November 15. With the full launch on November 28, players are getting hyped up for the new World of Warcraft expansion.

To build excitement, World of Warcraft released a Features Overview video. This short clip runs through the major selling points of Dragonflight: exploration, Dragonriding, and the new Dracthyr Evoker. It also quickly showcased the new Talent Trees live now in World of Warcraft. Set to a panorama of the beautiful zones and the inspiring music of Dragonflight, the commercial-like video is short, sweet, and full of thrills.

World of Warcraft also put out a longer Pre-Patch survival guide to aid players in the weeks before Dragonflight’s launch. Featuring World of Warcraft community members and content creators Hazelnuttygames, Naguura, and Cdew, this guide breaks down what is found in each of the two phases of the Dragonflight Pre-Patch, from the new Talent Trees and UI to the upcoming Dracthyr Evoker, Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr dungeon, and Primal Storms event.

Players were understandably hyped to see World of Warcraft’s new videos. With Dragonflight just a month away, hype is rapidly building towards the upcoming launch. Fans were especially happy to see more World of Warcraft content creators becoming involved in official Blizzard videos. Seeing Hazelnuttygames, Naguura, and Cdew reach officially-licensed success filled their fans with pride and joy.

Many players find it hard to believe Dragonflight is almost live. After the strange patch cadence of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the upcoming release feels early, even though it has been about two years since the last expansion pack launch. Nevertheless, some players have reservations about whether Dragonflight will be ready for release. World of Warcraft is confident Dragonflight will be ready for its big day in spite of worries, leading many to wonder if Shadowlands had content cut from it like Warlords of Draenor did to work on Legion. While Shadowlands may have suffered for it, if Dragonflight is half as successful and popular as Legion was, perhaps it will be enough to redeem World of Warcraft in the eyes of players disappointed by Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands, or by Blizzard’s recent legal trouble.

World of Warcraft is available now for PC. Dragonflight launches on November 28.
