It may feel like Legion just dropped, but the next expansion for World of Warcraft is already right around the corner. Battle for Azeroth is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2018 and, after the critical and commercial success of Legion, the upcoming expansion has some big shoes to fill. Fans are already very excited about the new content and speculation has begun about how BFA will change the game's landscape forever. Not only will the increased level cap and new features alter World of Warcraft, but some new zones will also add to Azeroth's lore and make yet another change to the MMO's world map. The new world map hasn't been officially revealed yet, but some eager fans have strung together images from the trailers and behind-the-scenes footage to imagine what the new map will look like. Here is what Azeroth might look like once the expansion arrives, according to one die-hard WoW fan... world-of-warcraft-battle-for-azeroth-world-map The changes aren't incredibly dramatic, but that once mysterious ocean between the two major continents continues to fill up with islands. There is still a lot of room to work with, but the map has come a long way since the days of vanilla WoW. Fans who long for those simpler times will also get a chance to relive 2004 later this year when Blizzard launches its official version of legacy servers: World of Warcraft Classic. World of Warcraft is available now on PC. Expect news regarding the Battle for Azeroth expansion’s release date in the weeks or months to come. Source: Reddit
