A couple of creative fans have made an amazing GeoGuessr game of World of Warcraft’s many zones. This incredible World of Warcraft browser game features over 100,000 locations set in Azeroth, Draenor, Outland, and even the Shadowlands.

The World of Warcraft GeoGuessr was made by TheEdenChild and their friend. TheEdenChild has also made GeoGuessr games for Fortnite, which include all versions of the island from its 20 seasons, and the city of Los Santos from Grand Theft Auto 5.

This amazing browser game allows players to select specific maps or regions of World of Warcraft, or have one selected from anywhere in the game. Once players start, they are placed in a random location on the map. Players can then move around the areas in a 3D panorama similar to a Google Maps street view, where they can then guess their current location and be scored on their accuracy. The World of Warcraft GeoGuessr has 360-degree panorama, leaderboards, and even multiplayer capability. Players can set up time limits for an even greater challenge, or endlessly explore Azeroth from their very own browser.

GeoGuessr is a geography game in which players are thrown into random locations around the world and must use Google Maps street view panoramas to identify where they are. The addictive game first appeared in 2013 and had a resurgence in popularity in 2021. GeoGuessr is used as both a learning tool and a competitive test of knowledge.

TheEdenChild and his team have big plans for the future of their GeoGuessr projects. In addition to adding the Dragon Isles of Dragonflight into the World of Warcraft GeoGuessr, they want to make map games for other worlds as well. According to their website, Apex Legends, Genshin Impact, Final Fantasy 14, Elden Ring, and The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild are just a few of the projects they hope to make GeoGuessrs for.

As one might expect, players were immediately hooked on TheEdenChild’s World of Warcraft GeoGuessr. The game is simple, fun, and terribly addictive. Players enjoyed flexing their World of Warcraft knowledge but were almost as embarrassed by their high scores as they were proud. Nevertheless, everyone who saw TheEdenChild’s game was impressed by the work that was put into the game. Players should pay close attention to their surroundings in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight so they can master TheEdenChild’s GeoGuessr once they are able to add the Dragon Isles to it.

World of Warcraft is available on PC. Dragonflight launches November 28.
