World of Warcraft players recently discovered some items that suggest an outfit themed after Medivh may be made available for players. Players may soon be able to dress up as the legendary Guardian once World of Warcraft adds these new items to the Trading Post.

Medivh is one of the most important and powerful characters in World of Warcraft’s lore. The legendary Guardian of Tirisfal was responsible for leading the Horde to Azeroth in the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, and appeared again in Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. Though his appearance differs slightly between media, his mantle and staff are iconic to many Warcraft fans.

Now, it seems World of Warcraft is adding some new items to the Trading Post that will allow players to dress up as the legendary figure. Three items–the Feathered Drape of the Guardian, Feathered Cowl of the Guardian, and Standard of the Guardian–were recently datamined from a build of the World of Warcraft Public Test Realm. Though no models are currently associated with these items, the names alone suggest they will look like the cape, hood, and staff of Medivh. The items have a total cost of 975 Trader’s Tender, meaning players would have to spend most of a single month’s budget of the Trading Post currency to collect the whole set.

Previously, players could collect Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian–the iconic raven-topped weapon once used by Medivh and now used by Khadgar in World of Warcraft. Acquiring the legendary weapon required players to collect pieces of the weapon from the raids across Vanilla World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, Atiesh is no longer obtainable in World of Warcraft, but if players are lucky, the Standard of the Guardian staff may look similar or even identical to the iconic weapon.

Recently, World of Warcraft players also discovered some Scarlet Crusade cosmetics associated with the Trading Post. With a Night Elf Warden transmog also available through the Trading Post, it seems the new feature may offer more outfits reminiscent of in-game NPCs and factions in future catalogs.

So far, the Trading Post has been a popular addition to Dragonflight. Though World of Warcraft players had some questions about the Trading Post as the nascent feature moves into its second month of rotating cosmetics, Blizzard has addressed these concerns in a recent interview with the Community Council. The Trading Post may have its flaws, but World of Warcraft is dedicated to improving the new cosmetic-collecting feature further until players are completely satisfied with it.

World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
