The final zone that World of Warcraft players venture to during their Dragonflight questing journey may be the most fun of the new Dragon Isles zones. The zone is called Thaldraszus, and it serves as the location of the brand-new capital city Valdrakken as well as the ancestral home of the Bronze Dragonflight. It is filled with sprawling mountains and old dragon infrastructure, and the dragons soar the skies. It is vast and beautiful, and it caps of the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight questing campaign in a pretty crazy way.

The storyline of Thaldraszus sees the player work alongside the Bronze Dragonflight to reclaim the Bronze Oathstone and restore the timeways. They must work with iconic lore characters like Chromie and Nozdormu, and they are brought on a crazy time-hopping journey throughout Azeroth history. There is a lot going on in this final campaign, and it is simply a treat for World of Warcraft fans.

Valdrakken, City of Dragons

WoW Valdrakken

The first chapter of the Thaldraszus campaign introduces players to the brand-new capital city of Valdrakken. Players head off to the city to listen to Kalecgos tell the other aspects about the Primalists that were attacking the Azure Span. When they arrive at Valdrakken, players quickly realize that the Primalists have already begun infiltrating the city. They quickly get to work weeding out any Primalists that they can find, and they rush off to the South Hold Gate to protect it from an impending attack.

When the player arrives at South Hold Gate the Primalists have already slaughtered the drakonid defenders. They fight through the Primalists to save any survivors, but they soon uncover a far more dastardly plot. Once a protector of the Aspects, Commander Eranog has betrayed them and joined the Primalists. He was the reason that South Hold Gate fell so quickly, and players watch as he is imbued with Primalists' power. Before players can report back to Valdrakken, they must destroy the proto-drake Magmatalon to free South Hold Gate.

Time Management

The second chapter of the Thaldraszus campaign sends players off to assist the Bronze Dragonflight in their ancestral home of the Shifting Sands. They assist the flight in beating back various time anomalies that have cropped up, and it leads to some pretty wild encounters with enemies from all across Azeroth. They also learn what it means to be a time warden, and they help the flight protect the Bronze Temple from an attack by the Infinite Dragonflight.

Chromie has trapped the Infinite dragon Eternus in a time bubble, and players must prepare the Bronze Temple to fight back against him. Once the time wardens and Nozdormu are ready, Chromie releases Eternus. The Bronze Dragonflight then clashes with Eternus, and Chromie leads the charge. However, when Chromie and Eternus attack each other, they are flung into an uncontrollable spiral through the timestream.

Big Time Adventure

WoW Azmeloth

The final chapter of the Thaldraszus leveling campaign brings players on a pretty wild time hopping adventure. Players venture through various timelines to stop Chromie and Eternus from damaging space and time as they tumble through it. The first timeline that the Bronze Dragonflight sends the player to is known as the Primalist Tomorrow, which is a timeline where the Primalists won and recreated Azeroth in their image. Players must track down Chrome and Eternus within the timeline to attempt to stabilize them, but they continue tumbling even further through time.

The second timeline that the player visits is known as Azmeloth. It is a version of Azeroth ruled by Murlocs who are fighting back against a Murloc version of Deathwing. Players once again attempt to stabilize Chromie and Eternus, but they continue to spiral. Players then race through all sorts of different timelines as they try to reach Chromie and Eternus before they cause irreparable damage. The timelines that players cruise through are the Gnoll War, the War of the Shifting Sands, and the Pandaren Revolution before coming to a stop in Ny'alotha, the Black Empire. It is there that Chromie and Eternus have come to an understanding, as they both simply want to return to the main timeline, and the player is happy to assist them in this.

Once everyone is back to the correct timeline, the Bronze Dragonflight empowers the Bronze Oathstone. Players are sent back to Valdrakken to continue their Dragonflight journey, but they must grind out a few faction reputations before they can see what happens next in this exciting dragon-filled story.
