Season 2 of Dragonflight is coming in Patch 10.1 with a fresh set of dungeons, and a World of Warcraft player may have accidentally stumbled on a clue that points which returning dungeon will make its Dragonflight debut. With World of Warcraft removing the Conquest and Valor cap, the inaugural season of Dragonflight is certainly entering its twilight phase. Though players have enjoyed pushing their keys in Dragonflight's new dungeons, they have only experienced one half of that roster.

In Patch 10.1, World of Warcraft players will be saying a temporary farewell to dungeons such as the notoriously difficult Ruby Life Pools, as the other four Dragonflight instances will make their way to the spotlight. The new wing of Uldaman, Brackenhide Hollow, Neltharus, and the Halls of Infusion are all slated to feature as Mythic dungeons in Dragonflight Season 2. However, the selection of returning dungeons from past World of Warcraft expansions remains unknown.

A recent discovery by Mdevil1305 on the official World of Warcraft subreddit points to at least one specific dungeon from Legion slowly being prepared to feature in Season 2's roster. It's certainly a dungeon that will ruffle some feathers, as many players who were active during Legion have strong opinions when asked about The Arcway. It's no secret that players prefer shorter dungeons for their Mythic keystones, as evidenced by the popularity Mists of Tirna Scithe enjoyed in Shadowlands. Unfortunately, The Arcway is anything but short.

Featuring five bosses and a complex progression, The Arcway certainly wouldn't be the first choice for many World of Warcraft players, but the existence of an upgradeable Chrono Shard trinket scaled for Dragonflight item levels implies that Blizzard has plans for the dungeon in Season 2. If one took Dragonflight Season 1 dungeons as a template, then the other three returning dungeons might be Maw of Souls, Mogu'shan Vaults, and Skyreach. It is important to remember that these choices are entirely speculative, as Blizzard has yet to announce any Dragonflight Season 2 dungeons in an official capacity.

The current focus has been on facilitating the introduction of the Trading Post feature to World of Warcraft, as well as setting the stage for the upcoming Orc and Human Heritage Armor due to arrive in Patch 10.0.7. Though Dragonflight is still young as an expansion, many fans believe that Blizzard has been making the right choices thus far, and they remain hopeful that this trend will continue in Dragonflight Season 2.
