World of Warcraft recently revealed all the Tier Set bonuses for Dragonflight’s raid gear. Players in the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight beta can test all 38 Tier Set bonuses and provide feedback on their functionality.

The Tier Set bonuses were revealed in a thread on the Blizzard forums for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s beta. In the post, World of Warcraft explained its design philosophy regarding the Tier Set bonuses, and confirmed the Creation Catalyst system introduced in Shadowlands would persist, meaning gearing up alts would be less difficult.

According to Blizzard, the Tier Set bonuses in this patch will be simpler than previous ones, such as those from ShadowlandsEternity’s End patch. This is largely because World of Warcraft is reintroducing the Talent Tree system in Dragonflight. This results in the Tier Set bonuses primarily modifying core class abilities and early talents, rather than capstone abilities which would shoehorn players into certain builds. World of Warcraft hopes this will allow players to experiment with the new talent trees to create and master their personal build.

The new World of Warcraft Tier Sets will be playable from the next beta build, and can be acquired by speaking with Setzertauren, one of the many beta vendor NPCs in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. The Tier Sets will likely be available for testing on endgame realms until the beta ends near the launch of Dragonflight on November 28. It is possible players may be able to experiment with the Tier Sets in World of Warcraft’s Public Test Realm later on, but those without beta access may have to wait until the expansion goes live to collect them.

Players were excited to see World of Warcraft’s new Tier Set bonuses. Tier Sets have been some of the most exciting and coveted items in World of Warcraft history. Most players were glad to see the iconic Tier Sets return in Shadowlands after a brief retirement, and are pleased to see them stick around in Dragonflight.

That said, many players are underwhelmed by this particular collection of Tier Set bonuses. They agree with World of Warcraft's assessment, saying the simple Dragonflight Tier Set bonuses are boring and uninspired. While previous Tier Sets sometimes changed how an entire build plays, most of the Dragonflight Tier Sets provide stat bonuses or simple interactions. Hopefully such a simple Tier Set will allow World of Warcraft to balance the bonuses well and get players used to the new Talent Trees so it can make more complex Tier Sets in future patches and expansions.

World of Warcraft is available on PC. Dragonflight launches on November 28.
