World of Warcraft just revealed a new Alexstrasza statue in honor of the Dragonflight expansion. This immaculate World of Warcraft collectible is available for pre-order on the Blizzard Gear store.

The Dragon Queen Alexstrasza is the leader of the red dragonflight. A beacon of compassion and life, she is often referred to as the heart of dragonkind. Alexstrasza is featured prominently in the promotional material for Dragonflight, including key art and cinematics, and will play a major role in the World of Warcraft expansion.

Now, World of Warcraft collectors can get their very own Alexstrasza to guard their shelves and cases. This 20-inch statue weighs just under 15 pounds and is made of polyresin and PVC. The officially-licensed statue is made directly by Blizzard artists–it is sculpted by Brian Fay based on Alexstrasza’s new Dragonflight model made by Natacha Nielsen and hand-painted by Lewis Villamar. Though the statue is available for pre-order now, it is not expected to ship until September 2023.

The new Alexstrasza statue doesn’t come cheap: the collectible statue costs $900 before tax and shipping. This earns the new statue its place as the fourth most expensive item on the Blizzard Gear store. Only the Lich King Arthas and Reinhardt statues, each costing $1,100, and the World of Warcraft Frostmourne premium replica at $1,500, are more expensive than the newest Blizzard collectible.

Players were stunned by the quality of the new Alexstrasza statue. The absurd level of quality found in the sculpture is beyond measure, and the detailing of her armor, hair, and face truly brings the Dragon Queen to life. Many World of Warcraft fans were especially charmed by the baby dragons, flowers, and detailed dragon eggs found on the base of the Alexstrasza statue.

Many World of Warcraft fans were taken aback by the price of the new statue, however. The Illidan, Sylvanas, and Jaina statues are roughly the same size and appear to be about the same quality, but cost $300 less than Alexstrasza. This is presumably because she is relevant to current content and her base comes with more detail than the others.

For a fair bit less than the new statue, players can see Alexstrasza in all her glory in Dragonflight. Once the expansion releases in a couple of weeks, players can help Alexstrasza renew the Dragon Isles and restore the Aspects to their former glory. If players are especially charmed with the regal Dragon Queen, they will have time to save up money to buy her fantastic statue before it releases next year.

World of Warcraft is available on PC. Dragonflight launches on November 28.
