World of Warcraft is holding a sale on several of its in-game services ahead of big changes coming to the game. With cross-faction guilds and new rewards in the Recruit a Friend program, now is the perfect time for players to change factions, transfer servers, or pick up other paid World of Warcraft game services.

Recently, World of Warcraft announced cross-faction guilds would be coming in Dragonflight Patch 10.1, Embers of Neltharion. Additionally, the Recruit a Friend program is refreshing its rewards with new Goblin-themed cosmetic items including the Rocket Shredder 9001 mount and the Volatile Self-Driving Toolbox pet.

To celebrate these exciting new changes coming to World of Warcraft, Blizzard has discounted the Faction Change, Character Transfer, Name Change, and Race Change game services from now until April 3. Players can save 30% on each of these services during the sale, which includes the packs for Faction Change and Character Transfers. The largest bundle is not discounted, but players get two additional tokens for a total of eight when buying the pack. This sale is only valid for retail World of Warcraft and does not include the new WoW Classic Faction Change service.

Dragonflight Patch 10.0.7 is coming to World of Warcraft imminently, bringing with it the first new story content since the Vault of the Incarnates raid. Though not one of the major patches like 10.1, this content update brings players back to the Forbidden Reach zone, otherwise only accessible during the Dracthyr starting experience in Dragonflight. The game is also getting new Heritage Armor for Orcs and Humans, catch-up mechanics, and Dragonriding glyphs and abilities among other things, making it the perfect time to recruit new players to try out WoW.

In a couple of months, Patch 10.1 arrives in World of Warcraft. In addition to an expansive new zone, the Aberrus raid, and tons of exciting new features, WoW is also allowing players to create cross-faction guilds. Cross-faction instances and raiding were added in Shadowlands, but now World of Warcraft players will finally be able to create guilds with characters from both the Alliance and Horde in them. This will allow players from either faction to enjoy the same guild perks, use the guild’s bank and chat, and more easily schedule events, raids, and more. This new feature won’t be added until Patch 10.1 arrives sometime in May or June, but players can buy a Faction Change on sale now and save it for the big day.

World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
