World of Warcraft has just shared the socials for dozens of content creators who will be giving away Dragonflight beta access keys over the next several weeks. These giveaways herald another milestone towards World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s impending release before the end of the year.

At the beginning of September, World of Warcraft began the beta testing phase for Dragonflight. Each week since, it has invited more and more players to access the beta, which has progressively added more Dragonflight content to the client for testing.

This recent promotion puts the power of beta access into the hands of World of Warcraft content creators from across the globe. Over the next several weeks, these content creators will be holding giveaways on Twitch, Twitter, Youtube, and other social media. World of Warcraft has a complete list of social media links for sweepstakes through September 23, though it also confirmed the giveaways would continue in the weeks after.

While players are trying to get access to the Dragonflight beta, they can also check out the Dragonflight Pre-Patch on the World of Warcraft Public Test Realm. Though the PTR testing is currently focused on talent trees and UI changes, all World of Warcraft players can access the special server from their Battle.net client. Players cannot yet explore the Dragon Isles or make dracthyr Evokers, but access to some of these features may roll out over the next few months.

World of Warcraft beta key giveaways are always exciting. Beta access is largely granted to lucky players, content creators, and press representatives. These giveaways allow more players to possibly get access to the beta testing phase of the game and see what Dragonflight has to offer. Most of the reports from the Dragonflight beta have been positive, and many players have high hopes for the next World of Warcraft expansion.

That said, players need to be careful as the season of beta key giveaways begins. As nice as it is to give away keys, some hostile players are sore losers if they are not selected, and this can cause a nightmare for social media chats and their moderators. Likewise, plenty of predatory groups will use this opportunity to hold fake beta key giveaways in order to hack player accounts or run other phishing schemes. World of Warcraft fans should be careful as they participate in these giveaways, and should be sure to double-check with official sources to confirm the sweepstakes they enter are legitimate.

World of Warcraft is available now on PC, with Dragonflight launching later this year.
