Brewfest is one of the older holidays in Azeroth, dating back to the time of the Burning Crusade expansion in 2006. Players of World of Warcraft: Classic are currently enjoying an older version of the holiday, but it still has some of the same features as its modern-day counterpart, one of those common threads being the Achievements.

Players working towards certain titles, like Loremaster or Brewmaster, will need to finish certain quests and tasks related to Brewfest, some of which are included here. However, even those who aren't interested in the titles have a good reason to accomplish these fun and interesting Achievements.

7 Does Your Wolpertinger Linger?

Don a pair of Synthebrew Goggles or get completely smashed to make the wild wolpertinger visible. The quest is called "Does Your Wolpertinger Linger?" and it's only available during Brewfest. Use the net to catch five of these cute little fuzzies and get a reward, the Wolpertinger's Tankard, that's worth way more than the easy quest that even a drunk person could finish.

The main motivation is collecting one of the more adorable and unique pets in the game, the Wolpertinger, a cuddle little bunny with antlers and wings. It's a figure from German mythology that fits in with the aesthetic of the holiday and matches nicely with the Brewfest garb.

6 Disturbing The Peace

Gamers that are currently enjoying Brewfest in Classic WoW might have to wait to complete this one, as The Wrath of the Lich King expansion is set to drop during the holiday period, and, without it, there is no Dalaran. This Achievement requires players to dress in at least three pieces of Brewfest regalia and get smashed on the streets of the floating mage city.

Brewfest Regalia isn't cheap, so this might be harder than it sounds. Whether or not there'll be some overlap between Brewfest and Lichfest remains to be seen, but any Achievement that requires nothing more than a night on the town is worth doing.

5 A Brew-FAST Mount

Coren Direbrew can only die a few times every year, so when that loot table comes up, players will need to make it count. He drops a variety of rare items that include weapons, trinkets, and mounts. The Brewfest Ram and the Brewfest Kodo, two of the rarest mounts in the game, drop only from Corin Direbrew during the Brewfest holiday. A handy tip is to bring a party of five players that each have a quest to get five chances at a drop.

This is a Brewfest-related Achievement, but players won't find a description of it under the Holiday tab. This is a Feat of Strength, one of the secret achievements that players don't know about until they get it.

4 Strange Brew

"Strange Brew" isn't only easy, but also fun, and it's an essential requirement for the Brewmaster title which is another reason to get it done. The exact details change depending on the faction, but all it takes is a few silver and a tour of the beer garden in either Ironforge or Orgrimmar to finish this Achievement.

Be prepared to get a little tipsy, as it takes a minimum of nine drinks to complete. There are three drink vendors in each camp, and each one is selling four drinks. Three specific drinks from each are required, so players can check the list in the Achievements tab to make sure to get it right. Another method is to sample one of each just to be thorough.

3 Drunken Stupor

This is the old version of "Almost Blind Luck" which is the modern variation of "Going Down." The former is a variation of the achievement that can be completed with the Synthebrew Goggles instead of getting drunk. The latter is a Feat of Strength that requires a player to fall more than 65 yards without dying.

"Drunken Stupor" requires a player to drink until getting "completely smashed" and then falling the required distance without dying upon impact. Slow-fall or parachute jumps don't count. This can be tricky at this stage of the game for certain classes, which is probably why it's not required for Brewmaster.

2 Down With The Dark Iron

The reason this is one of the best Achievements to get for WoW: Classic is because it's no longer available in the retail version of the game. Players have to defend the fairground against an incursion of Dark Iron Dwarves who have infiltrated Durotar by tunneling from Blackrock Mountain in their mole machines. This is done by using beer steins as a projectile weapon, naturally.

The antagonists of this spontaneous event, the Dark Iron Dwarves, are allied with certain factions in modern WoW so the premise of a hostile faction stealing the Brewfest booze isn't as immersive. Once they've been driven off, one of the big gears left behind by their machines will give the player an easy quest to complete by talking to a nearby goblin. It's called "This One Time When I Was Drunk" and gives them this Achievement.

1 Brew Of The Month

This is the Brewfest Achievement that just keeps on giving, and it's also a requirement for the Brewmaster title. Getting this Achievement is really about the ability to collect 200 Brewfest coins in order to buy a membership in this prestigious club. After twelve months, there's another Achievement for loyal members that always finish their monthly brew.

It's not just the free drinks that the character gets in their Azeroth Post, but also the extra ones they can buy from a Brew Vendor. Time to get those rams racing and those flyers flying.

World of Warcraft is available on PC.
