Following the success of its Legion expansion, World of Warcraft has been releasing teasers for the game's massive 7.2 patch update over the past few months, tantalizing the MMORPG's many players with one of the biggest, baddest names in Warcraft lore - Sargeras. Now, Blizzard has revealed a brand new launch trailer for the Tomb of Sargeras patch, and it is hitting servers even sooner than expected, with gamers getting access to the new content on March 28, 2017.

Nearly half a year after the gigantic content addition was revealed at Blizzcon 2016, the update that Blizzard is calling the biggest World of Warcraft has ever seen will finally be arriving in just a few days. Tomb of Sargeras will finally give players the chance to get some revenge for the Alliance and Horde after both factions' cataclysmic defeat on the Broken Shore, and several key figures present in the trailer cinematic will be banding together in an attempt to drive the Legion off of Azeroth once and for all with an assault on the patch's titular gravesite.

Update 7.2 looks to be living up to Blizzard's claims of its scale, with an incredible number of features being added to World of Warcraft that combine to make the patch feel more like an expansion than an update. Some of the biggest changes will include the addition of the new Broken Shore zone, which players have asked for since the defeat of the Horde and Alliance in the opening minutes of Legion, alongside a new dungeon called the Cathedral of the Eternal Night. Although the latter sounds a lot like a glam metal song, it will see Mythic dungeons have their difficulties increased to account for how well-geared end-game players are now.

Other inclusions in Update 7.2 include the addition of flying mounts to the Broken Isles, which will shave the amount of time players need to spend on dailies. The Tomb of Sargeras patch will also include a new PvP Brawl mode as well, which is inspired by some of the multiplayer content offered in Blizzard's popular Hearthstone online CCG.

Update 7.2 looks to be an absolutely massive addition to World of Warcraft, and players will certainly have their hands full in a few days. Even before the Tomb of Sargeras update hits, however, Blizzard has also already teased something for Update 7.3 - the trailer for Tomb of Sargeras gives gamers a sneak peek at Argus, which will be a key setting in the next major patch.
