The daily word game Wordle has taken the world by storm over the last few months, with many players including the brainteaser as an early morning exercise to get the brain ready and working for the day. However, with players often sharing Wordle answers after having solved the puzzle early for themselves, it can be easy for fans to get spoiled before they get the chance to play later on.

One fan got spoiled on the answer one day and decided to use some of the game's features to have a different kind of fun trying to create their own puzzle out of the game. The result is a strange little art-piece made using the sharing functions that already come available and have helped to make Wordle such a popular game online in the first place.

Since the player already knew the answer, that means they had the ability to start their Wordle attempt with knowledge of exactly what letters would light up each color on the board. So, instead of just getting the answer right on the first try, the player filled out words that were close, but missing a few letters in key positions for each of the six attempts. In the end, the player was able to make a little shape out of the combination of correct and incorrect tiles, creating a small pitchfork or skull depending on how someone might look at it.

This tactic of drawing some image in the board has become popular as players either grow bored with solving the daily Wordle puzzle, or are spoiled like the original poster was. Notably, trying to figure out a way to use the puzzle to build an image like this can also mean keeping a streak going, which has become a point of pride for some players that have days, weeks, and even months in a row without failing to solve. Drawing larger images with the thirty pixels available does mean that the player's guess distribution might be a bit distorted, but that already has a pretty random chance on it that a lot of fans don't bother to really track.

Getting spoiled on a puzzle like Wordle can be pretty frustrating for a lot of players who enjoy to dive into the daily brainteaser at some restful point in their day. Solving the puzzle, much like a crossword or word search in the morning paper, can be meditative for a lot of fans, which is a huge reason why Wordle went so viral in the first place. So, being able to find a new way to play after getting that brief pratice spoiled could be a great way for fans to maintain the meditative nature even on days when someone lets the answer slip early.
