God of War Ragnarok developer Mila Pavlin has joined Monolith Productions' upcoming Wonder Woman game. The former Sony Santa Monica employee revealed that she had been with this studio for roughly a week before publicly discussing it. Pavlin's announcement and Twitter bio revealed that she will have a similar job on Wonder Woman that she had on the latest God of War game.

In late 2021, Warner Bros revealed that Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor developer Monolith Productions' next game would be an open-world Wonder Woman game. The announcement came as something of a shock as most fans were expecting the developer's next project to be a follow-up to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Regardless, the developer is clearly committed to the game, and it now appears that accessibility will be a priority for the team with the help of a former God of War: Ragnarok developer.

In the months before the announcement, job postings revealed that Monolith Productions was gearing up to start work on a new game and continued to hire people as production went on. In a recent post, the former Sony Santa Monica publicly revealed that she had joined Monolith Productions on the upcoming Wonder Woman game. Pavlin had previously worked on God of War Ragnarok and specifically helped design its accessibility features and was credited as Lead UX Designer in the game. She lists her job on the new Wonder Woman game as the Design Director UX and praised the team's dedication to accessibility.

Monolith Productions is a studio with credits that stretch all the way back to 1997 but became a more widely known entity after it released Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor in 2014. The game would go on to win several Game of the Year awards with many praising the Nemesis System. The game's direct sequel, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War was a more controversial installment thanks to its extensive use of microtransactions and loot boxes. The microtransactions were removed from Shadow of War in mid-2018.

Very little is known about Monolith Productions' upcoming game. Reports have indicated that Wonder Woman will use the Nemesis System from the Middle-Earth games and will be an open-world experience. However, the game could still be years away from a release date. The developer's apparent commitment to accessibility features for the upcoming game, however, would likely make the titular character proud.

Wonder Woman is currently in development.
