Any movie is as good as the sum of its parts and Wonder Woman 1984 is no exception. Though the Wonder Woman sequel received its fair share of criticism after its premiere it still remains a feel-good superhero film that breathed new life to an ailing cinema industry when it needed it the most and it made people actually want to get HBO Max.

For all of its faults, Wonder Woman 1984 is packed with amazing talent from the likes of Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, and Kristen Wiig being directed by Patty Jenkins. The chemistry between the first two is wonderful to watch as it always looks like they're really having a lot of fun when working together, especially when things don’t go as planned.

Warner Bros. recently released their official gag reel for Wonder Woman 1984 and it’s a true treat to watch Gadot’s charming smile every time something doesn't go according to plan, or even when they do, because apparently, Wonder Woman herself laughs all the time. Funnily enough, Pine had coined the nickname Giggles Gadot for his co-star since they worked together in 2017’s Wonder Woman and it’s pretty easy to see why.

The entire video is pretty wholesome as Gadot struggles to contain her laughter in iconic scenes like getting Steve Trevor properly dressed in 80 streetwear; Wiig looks in awe as her hair extensions fall out or smacks Gadot's face by accident; it even has Pascal farting in-between scenes. It truly is a showcase for the lighter themes that were probably Wonder Woman 1984’s strongest selling points in spite of a puzzling plot.

Most of the criticism hurled at Wonder Woman 1984 actually focused on just how light-hearted and silly some of its key story points were, as this is after all a movie that revolves around the dangerous powers of wishes, so not the most elaborate theme by any means. Still, that alone should not be enough to fuel rumors that have Zack Snyder potentially directing Wonder Woman 3, as Jenkins might still want a shot to get things 100% right again.

Wonder Woman 1984 was always going to have a hard time at collecting fresh revenue for Warner Bros., yet it did risk underperforming for the sake of launching the studio’s streaming strategy that now has Snyder’s Justice League trending. On the other hand at least everyone had fun while making Wonder Woman 1984, an honor Justice League will never be able to claim, so most of the cast would probably be happy to return.
